I have this calc in which a Big Daddy vibrates a large room. I was asked to get a second opinion on it. I would also like to have a standardized vibration calc.

Peak ground acceleration is your friend. Good old KE. Find the mass of the room and see which shaking value in the table it lines up with, and convert the cm/s speed to m/s to get your energy.

Why do we use affected distance(radius) as wavelength? If you don't know both wave speed(known) and frequency(unknown), you can't actually find it. Which is kinda useless since we need to find frequency.

I can be wrong tho, if so please correct me.
