(Ben 10) Giving Brainstorm more powers

Proctor Servantis, a Ben 10 Omniverse villain, managed to alter his DNA and become a cerebrocrustacean (the same species that Brainstorm belongs to). He then gains a pretty dramatic amount of abilities, such as increased intelligence, electrokinesis and (more importantly) quite a few mind manipulation powerss, including mind control, general mind manip and memory manipulation. However, Brainstorm doesn't have any of these abilities listed on his page, while Servantis does.

One could argue that the cerebrocrustacean DNA Servantis fused himself with was 'different' or 'altered' somehow, but as far as I am aware this is never stated in canon and is pretty much just a fan theory. You could also argue that there is some variation in the abilities of cerebrocrustaceans, but the only evidence for this is that Doctor Psychobos also doesn't have his abilities...but that is circumstantial. There isn't any actual proof that the cerebrocrustacean DNA used was so dramaticlaly different from Ben's that he has like, four to five extra powers that Ben just doesn't.

The best argument against Brainstorm having these powers is that Ben doesn't use them often. but that might not even be true either. In this clip, Brainstorm straight-up undoes Doctor Animo's mind control over a Yeti and takes over the Yeti's mind itself, and then sets it free immediately after. There are two possibilities:

• Brainstorm has some weird technokinesis that no other of his species ever displayed and is never mentioned again (highly unlikely, especially since the technology shown here is used again in UA but without Ben using Brainstorm again)
• Brainstorm took control of the Yeti's mind, which would be consistent with what Doctor Servantis does.

So to TL;DR this, Brainstorm:

• Should get Mind Manipulation and Mind Control
• Should get "Possibly Memory Manipulation", since he admittedly hasn't shown off this ability
• At worst, Ben should get Possibly for all three.

Agree, he used osmosian to channel the abilities of different species to another, so there is no reason to assume that why brainstorm wouldn't have abilities of servantis.

I am not aware of how versus matches works here but logically speaking if all of things are matched up then what left can be used to decide a win.

Ben almost definitely uses his mind control on a yeti, mid-combat. I said this already.

And yes, the memory manipulation is mostly non-combat-applicable: it so happens that Servantis uses it almost entirely out of combat. That changes almost nothing.
