Being faster than a shadow

Not necessarily.

This article is a quick read about how shadows can be FTL as they're not actually a thing, just an area where photons aren't. Now, most shadows are not actually faster than light, and saying that shadows are faster than light is a little bit disingenuous.

Also, in fiction shadow's do work differently (say for example shadow manipulation isn't ftl unless the character is ftl), so it would be best if we had context.

Thanks. For context people say the the character lucky luke is ftl because he can draw his gun faster than his shadow. Tbh this argument that being faster than a shadow means being ftl is quite new to me.

Yeah i assume shadows are basically omnipresent since they are just areas without light, which is basically everywhere if light wasn't there, so outrunning a shadow might just be outrunning whatever is stopping light from reaching that area like a cloud
