Zeus starts with Lighting that power nulls.
Beerus depands on he's mood. He'll hakai if you are annoying.
But regularly h2h mix with attack Reflection, energy null, etc

Beerus definitely does NOT start with hakai. Hakai is only used by him if Beerus is really serious and / or enraged.
However, Beerus is very casual usually so he won't resort to hakai right away

I believe he can. GODs can engulf their bodies with destruction energy. Frieza's death beam didn't work on toppo.
And as far as I remember beerus reflected an attack from an alien that he fought on an unknown planet at the start of dbs.

But, he can still dodge the attack since speed is equalized and according to whis, beerus has ui omen form. But regardless he can dodge zeus's attack
