Don't wanting to be that type of person but being that type of person: What material are we using to research?

I'm fine with using the 40 official albums, but anything beyond that should have a reason for being applicable to the main continuity (Such as the feat initially proposed on the thread, which aparently happens on the comics as well according to Dark Carioca)

Yeah, we probably should define if we're going comics only, or if we're using other materials such as movies, which would require to validate whether the movies are their own canon or not. At least I know a couple have been adapted as part of the collection albums such as the Twelve Tasks, but others have issues like the the Big Fight movie being a combination of the Big Fight comic and the Soothsayer comic.

The Goscinny/Uderzo-written movie was indeed adapted into a comic book (the page with that specific feat; a whole thing's inside the download option folder as it's 24th story).

I mean the feat in the OP did come from an adaptation of the Twelve Tasks, so uhh...

It should be fine to use films that adapt the comics as long as the feats showed on the movies happens on a similar way to their book counterparts

By the way: Wikipedia has a list that explains about which Asterix films adapt the comics (Including the name of the books adapted by them)

The book you're citing does comment on the Twelve Tasks and flat out mentions it not being canonical, but doesn't elaborate further besides speculating that it wasn't written by Goscinny and Uderzo, so we can't really discard it just yet. I actually have that book myself, it's not a comic per se, it's a summarization of the movie with pictures, like Coup de Menhir and Asterix vs Cesar.

EDIT: I think using movie only feats from movies that are adapting books would be akin to using anime feats from a manga verse. Not really invalid so long is not inconsistent or the author's had a hand on it.

I was only trying to say that the XXL series could get separate canon profiles, but that subject should be saved for a future discussion thread.

Trying the best I can. The only active calc-grouper on the supporter list is Dark-Carioca, and I kinda want to give him some space with how busy he is.

I doubt physics of any kind, let alone KE, is weight-limited.

I mean that's one of the reasons why Spidey got nuked from Low 7-C back to High 8-C back in the day, so unless that rule was changed at some point I believe that may still be the case in VSBW. Other CGMs may have to weigh in on that, though. I might just be stuck in the past xD

A little update on this CRT, currently I am wondering if I should change the title of the thread given it went from a simple calc CRT to a full-blown Asterix upgrade discussion thread.

Speaking of, no updates on the LS feats yet since they weren't evaluated yet. Maybe I did too many of them, but I had to calc every worthwhile feat I can find from the scans provided by everyone who tossed them my way.
