Honestly, this is just a doubt of mine. Many people say that scaling must be backed by solid proof, but isn' t it okay to use assumptions as long as they aren' t exaggerated? This was also discussed in a guideline about calculations ~ assumptions are allowed when something is genuinely difficult or nearly impossible to scale. But does that only apply to calculations? I think so. It should only relate to things involving calculations or numerical analysis. What do you think?
