Okay so just to try and help stir up discussion

Ap wise they seem to be roughly comparable. Jin can kill large bears that can bust down doors, Ash can kill beings like Eligos and Evil Ash who are tougher than normal deadites that can also bust down doors.

Sure I can count your vote for it, will say Ash has battled undead knights and his evil self in lengthy swordfights so he's no stranger to fighting blade wielders though

Well yeah but I'd assume that Jin has more experience in that regard than Ash. Fighting yourself in a sword fight can be arguably questionable, depending on how much experience Ash has with a sword.

Like I could fight myself in a sword duel but I don't know how to use a sword so we'd just be flailing around.

Fair point, however Ash does show some skill with a blade all the same. Here's the fight in question at one point he gets stuck between his clone and a deadite and crosses blades with the latter without even really looking at him with Ash putting his IR to good use there.



Anyway Ash has a chainsaw so that won't probably matter, Jin never saw that kind of thing in his life but its common sense to not clash a blade against it lol

Aside from the massive skill advantage, Jin arsenal is just simply far more superior in variety, worst come to worst and Jin somehow fight honorably, he would simply outclass Ash and if Ash IR became a problem, Jin would just observe him abit and proceed to figure out away to deal with it and same to all those other stuff that Ash have.
