Asgore is about to get handled.

Vader would already have the advantage due to his baseline Force powers. His Force Barriers could most likely withstand any normal attacks he couldn't take physically, and his telekinetic abilities would be more than a match for Asgore's fire magic. Mind-hax and precog just seal the deal here, especially in the former case since it means he would have no trouble absolutely decimating Asgore in CQC thanks to his mix of precog-enhanced reactions and pure lightsaber combat skill.

Vader mid-diffs at most.

Asgore could take this if he blitzed, but is it in character for him to blitz?

If he doesn't immediately blitz, then Vader's barriers, mind hax, precog, and superior AP will allow him to obliterate Asgore.

If he were in a fight for his life, like in the war with the humans, then yes. And how would barriers help against Soul Manipulation?

Asgore isn't Sans. He doesn't have any insta-hitting soul attacks. And even then, don't UT attacks need to make physical contact with a character in order to deal soul damage? If Asgore's fire magic doesn't get past Vader's Force Barrier (and believe me, it won't), then the soul-manip effects probably won't do anything. Vader using his lightsaber to block the trident would be enough to stop the soul effects as well. Can't soul-manip an energy blade.

Also, Vader's not going to screw around with him. He'll barrier-up as soon as he realizes there's going to be a fight, then lash out with mind-hax or TK, neither of which Asgore is likely to dodge even with his superior speed.
