Armored Core 6 General Discussion

Armored-Core-6-New-Details.jpeg

Yeah, this served as my first introduction into the series and I am LOVING it so far

The cheesy voice acting especially

That being said I think their long overdue for profiles on the Wiki, hopefully this serves to help with that

Nice any AP/Durability calcs in the making?

Just by looking at it average Armored Core should be 11m tall. You can destroy them into small pieces. Wouldn't that range from High 8-C to 8-B depending on the material?
Yeah, they can also tank large containers exploding which at a glance is 8-B

So i calced how much energy you would roughly need to fragment an armored core (you can do this in game with various weapons). The pixel scaling is not 100% accurate beacuse armored cores are weirdly shaped. However, it should still be in the same ballpark.

We know armored cores should be 10.5 meters tall. I will use that as a baseline for pixel scaling.

AC-line.png

525 pixels

AC-line-3.png

284 pixels

AC-line-2.png

218 pixels

1 pixel=0.02 m or 2 cm (based on 10.5 meters height)

Armored Core Height= 1050 cm or 10.50 m

Armored Core Length= 568 cm or 5.68 m

Armored Core Width= 436 cm or 4.36 m

Total Volume= 260030400 cm^3

There is no source saying what materials armored cores are made of so i will use steel in this calculation.
Fragmentation of steel is 208 J/ cm^3

Energy= 260030400 x 208= 54086323200 joules

Final tally: 12.9269415 tons of tnt (City Block level)

I'm about to find their in game height Gimme a sec

Around 14 meters
The calc looks good but i've heard that enviroment sizes in comparison to armored cores are really inconsistent in AC6.

Also i've got 10.5 meters from a certain youtuber who scaled him to Tarnished from Elden Ring. The games also use the same measurment system and everything. The Armored Core is 6 times the size of Tarnished who is 1.75 meters tall.

Show the video

I'd rather do in game measurements then a comparison from a completely different game

Figured it was Zullie

I'd rather go with what we got now then what Zullie says since she didn't elaborate on how she got that size

I know she knows her code but she didnt show how she got that

I'll see If I can work something out using the meter distance system in game
Fair enough.

Here is the calc using your newly calced height.

1 pixel= 0.02644209

Height= 13.88209877 m or 1388.20988 cm

Length= 7.50955356 m or 750.955356 cm

Width= 5,76437562 m or 576,437562

Volume= 600926730.5400708 cm^3
