Hello people. Today we will be adding Hierro's powers to the Hollow Physiology page. This will be for Low Tier Arrancar and above.

Here it is:

Bodily Weaponry, Statistics Amplification, and Resistance to Bladed and Blunt Weaponry (Hierro is a Hollow technique that concentrates Reiryoku around the body, allowing the user to defend against blades and punches whislt enhancing their defense. The defense created by Hierro is hard enough to make ordinary attacks useless. Hierro can also be used offensively, augmenting attack power)

Agree: Valeska24, Deceived3596, @Makunoichi, @Excel616, UchihaSlayer, Bastolan27, Arc7Kuroi, LordTracer, Crobatman44, Catzaflame, KTNeutral:DIsagree:

Hierro can also be used offensively, enhancing attack power through creating claws in their hands

Has this ever been stated to be Hierro?

Not directly, but it's clearly shown to be an application of Hierro through being shown hardening Ichigo's skin to defend against the Lanza.

The Hierro hardening his skin to defend against it I get, but I don't think that necessarily means that the claws Ichigo forms are definitely Hierro.

On the other hand, there's nothing saying that it definitely isn't Hierro either.

The Claws and the hardening are the same ability dude 🤦‍♂️. If you concede that the hardening is hierro the claws are too.

How so? I don't see anything in the scans suggesting that.

Honestly it’s very likely the case given that it’s just hardening the outer layer of skin. And Hierro is the hardened skin.

Because both are just hardening the skin and it's in the same instance.

The fact Grimmjow can do the same thing lends more credence to it being Hierro anyway.

Not sure if the claw argument makes sense as that would depend on the Espada, not all of them have claws.

I'd probably just word it as "can augment their physical strikes using the same ability"

Grimmjow did the claw thing against Askin and I think Quilge too but I could be wrong on the latter

Either way I agree

Since the claw part is gone from the justification, wouldn’t that also cause Bodily Weaponry to be removed

Not necessarily as making claws would still be a hollow technique so theyd all have it, but it could be some espada choose not too. And that's why this wording is better

Weapon mastery is an ability that refers to the actual skill behind using weapons. You can’t really resist it. I believe what you are referring to would be better represented as invulnerability (as long as it’s not just an amp to physical durability, which seems to be the case but don’t quote me on that because I know little about the series)

Rest seems fine to me.

That's what is linked to on the Haki page which has the same ability so idk

We use weapon mastery for lacking a better alternative as it fits the entire "weaponry" aspect of the resistance; for further example of us using this. Here's the Haki page.

Bladed and Blunt Weaponry (Users of Armament Haki are capable of fending off attacks from sharp weapons comparable to their durability[42][58])

It wouldn't fit invulnerability as Hierro doesn't make you invulnerable against attacks, it just makes you extra resistant against them.

It wouldn't fit invulnerability as Hierro doesn't provide you an invulnerability against weaponry, it just makes you extra resistant against it.
Does Hierro only provide resistance against bladed weaponry and not blunt damage? I don't remember a lot about the Arrancar saga, but I thought it did.

It's noted by Yoruichi that Yammy's skin was extremely tough and made her blunt, physical punches and kicks more ineffective against him than normal. So it isn't just restricted to bladed attacks, but also accounts for blunt attacks as well.

It should be added to this then
Like in the haki section

This might be a stupid question, but this is for Low/High Tier Arrancars, not High Tier Hollows right? Cause White is listed as a High Tier Hollow, but I don't remember him having Hierro. And Hierro is considered an Arrancar technique, not a Hollow one, so just being a Vasto Lorde shouldn't mean you suddenly have Hierro. I'm just asking since in the OP, it says this will be given to all High Tier Hollows and above, but that would give beings like Hooleer, White and Ayon Hierro as well.
Also, some Arrancars like Dordoni are classified as Low Tier Arrancars and have shown Hierro, but the Vizoreds are also considered Low Tier Arrancars, would they gain Hierro too? Or is this change only going to be for High Tier Arrancars (assuming it's not High Tier Hollow) and some placements will be rearranged?
