Are profile requests allowed?

Suppose you want to add a new character to the wiki but you aren’t knowledgeable about the character or you are but only casual.

is it okay to make a request to someone who is knowledgeable to that character/series If they wish to do so. (Basically if they accept it. Is it okay?)

We used to have a thread like that, but for how good an users is at creating profiles it will not create a profile for a verse it has no interest on.

that’s what I did to sir ovens.

I made a profile for Scp-3922 but with the Scp canon problems I asked him to finish it. (Maybe he’ll help me)

but I’ve pretty much given up the profile.

Is it fine if he makes it. (As long as what the above I said. Interested and knowledgeable)

There's no real rules about requesting profiles to others, you're free to ask (as long you don't harass). If you're going to create a profile for a verse with a bunch of supporters, better to consult with them first rather than create a profile that does not fit the stablished wiki's scaling.

okay. It’s just Scp-3922 is really difficult because the extended canon is collaborative.

and it’s part of the three moons initiative which probably has more feats and stuff. (The problem with that is I’m casual on Scp stuff so i need sir ovens with that as well because diving into that stuff is too much for me)

though I brought this thread up because I noticed there were a few characters from punch out they missed.

i would request people add them because I watch punch-out but I’m casual and some are nes/snes characters and I only watched a little on that so I was gonna request someone make the profiles and add them.

I mean i'm casual on punch-out i watched nes/snes games on it. but i don't think i'm skilled in making profiles that much.

No, there's nothing wrong to ask, just don't ask more than the necessary, if thet say no then is no.
