Are bleach characters afflicted with genjutsu or have resistance? if so how?

I happened to argue with a guy who claimed that genjutsu afflicts him. Could someone expert in Naruto and at the same time also in Bleach help me with this?

genjutsu would work on bleach characters if soul crush wasn't passive
