Arcane Odyssey Verse Speed Upgrade CRT

So in Arcane Odyssey, the Player (And other NPCs as well) can parry the Beam spell, which travels at Mach 1.16. Here's footage of me parrying Beam.

This means that basically everybody in the verse gets their combat and reaction speeds upgraded to Supersonic (Mach 1.16) via this feat, even the low tier bosses and early game Player.

Ideally video would be provided showing the player parrying it.

Not sure how this sort of calc gets passed. From what I'm reading the beam's speed can change depending on range. This isn't a set speed and thus scaling it's one instance of traveling some meters in 3 frames doesn't make sense as a feat. You also say it always travels the distance in 3 frames, so it's speed isn't a set thing and rather a game mechanic of how it works.

I think I might've been outright guessing when I wrote that a year ago, I messed around with the spell a bunch in-game and it looked like it was going further sometimes, but I've yet to verify if this is actually the case. (I asked some other members in the games' official discord and none of them said it was a thing, maybe I was just on something)

In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have added that without knowing for sure it was true or not. 🤷‍♂️

So apparently what decides the range of Beam is how long you hold it, alongside how small you make it (And definitely NOT whether or not it has a target, and it also doesn't always travel to its destination in 3 frames, that's just wrong). So the Supersonic calc should be valid.

This would not scale to the player's reaction or combat speed. The video linked in the OP shows the player parrying at the same time (or maybe even a bit before) the beam was shot. This is a type of aim-dodging feat as the player in the video was reacting to the charging of the spell rather than the projectile in motion.

I saw Ultrakill do something similar with parrying so I thought it was worth a shot 🤷‍♂️
