so simon defeated the anti spiral but the anti spiral is 2-C and simon is only low 2-C. why is this?

In order to defeat the Anti-Spiral Simon was forced to use all the energy of himself, the final super tengen lagan and everyone else. After the battle after the esposion of the energy of the impact made him to that tier.

@Dark: No.

The reason that the Anti-Spiral is 2-C compared to STTGL's Low 2-C is that the Anti-Spiral is capable of maintaining the Super Grand Zamboa as well as maintaining a separate space-time continuum inside of his body at the same time. Individually, both of these are Universe level+ feats each, and combining the two brings up the Anti-Spiral's AP to Multi-Universe level.

The Anti-Spiral should still have Universe level+ striking strength however.

@Daniel: I have made a note regarding the tiering of the Anti-Spiral at the profile, in the "note" section explaining this, so go read it. This is because I have asked the exact same question you have asked, and Basilisk answered why this is so.

Shouldn't Simon be 2-C via power-scaling then as well? Seeing as he was able to cancel the Anti Spiral, The Grand Zamboa and the Super Spiral Universe, whereas STTGL barely was more than Low 2-C (unable to beat the AS Giga Drill Break)

I always thought that scene when he breaks the Anti-Spiral Giga Drill Break was because he absorbed everyone's power including STTGL into himself which is why he could beat the Anti Spiral. I could have sworn the writers of the show said that in one their interviews.

No, because the STTGL actually lost to the Super Granzeboma, who is a Universe level+ character. When both STTGL and Super Granzeboma was destroyed, Simon had to manually face the Anti-Spiral in direct combat, who is Universe level+ physically (including its durability), separate from the Super Granzeboma. This is why Simon, a Universe level+ character was able to match blows with the Anti-Spiral and defeated him.

Seeing that the Anti-Spiral could do maintain Super Granzeboma and hold the continuum simultaneously (2 Universe level+ things at once), he is considered Multi-Universe level in AP. Note that the Anti-Spiral holding his own space-time continuum does not help him in direct battle however, but we still consider it a part of Anti-Spiral's capabilities anyways.

Physically, the Anti-Spiral and the Granzeboma are Universe level+ individually.

But what I'm saying is that Word of God possibly backs up the Simon 2-C argument. I'll look for that interview and try and confirm that.

Do note that if feats shown in the series contradict what was stated Word of God, the feats would take priority.

As of what was shown in the series, the Anti-Spiral and the STTGL's battle takes place in the span of a single universe/space-time continuum. There were no instances of multiple-space continuums being destroyed, or threatening to be destroyed in that fight. That can only be a considered Universe level+ feat at most.
