1. Say that an author is stated to exist in his own verse, where he still has control over the story as normal. However, when he writes the story, characters may defy the change in narrative or simply start moving on their own without the author writing anything. Do these count as plot hax/resistance to plot hax for the characters in question?

2. If a character is merely stated to change their nature via writing or altering pre-existing stories about themselves, is that a form of plot hax?

1. Yes if he is actively writing it yet they refused and continued moving regardless of what is written

2 yes

1) Seems like a clear resisting to Plot Manipulation.

(However, when he writes the story, characters may defy the change in narrative)

There may be Acausality Type 4 .

(Simply start moving on their own without the author writing anything.)

Acausality Type 4 :Their actions are not dependent on the cause-effect relationship of Plot.

2) Yes, but this should be stated if they are only rewriting the past narrative.

You mean specific cases or just everyone in the verse?

A limited form of it but yes.

Oh wait, nevermind, I misread it.

Honestly, it's resistance ONLY if the author is writing stuff and they still oppose the events. Otherwise... not really.

Yeah, that's exactly what it is in this case. Author wrote an event in a certain way and everyone collectively decided "nah, **** that".
