Another Minor Elden Ring Addition

Wasn't expecting to do another one so soon, but here we go. So one of the big twists in Elden Ring is that Radagon is Marika, both told in the game and later shown during the final boss. Because of this, the two should get Multiple Selves. Of course we never learn the details of how exactly they're the same person, whether that means they are halves of one soul or two souls in one body etc. However, at minimum they do qualify for type 1 Multiple Selves, as not only are their alternative identities extremely relevant and affect the structure of their body which is a requirement stated on the page, but they have very conflicting personalities as well.

Radagon is a massive supporter of the Golden Older, blocking access to the Erdtree and acting a the final boss when the Tarnished enters, while Marika grew disillusioned with it, eventually resulting in her shattering the Elden Ring. These conflicting opinions are also shown in the description of Marika's Hammer, where it states that it is: The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.

In conclusion, both Radagon and Marika should get Multiple Selves Type 1 for being two personalities in one body. In all likelihood its probably type 2, but again as it was never explained the true nature of how they are the same type 1 is the minimum.

Doesn't the DLC imply Marika's children all had the capability of being multiple people if they chose to do so like Miquella did with Saint Trina?

I’m unsure. I thought it was actually the ability of grafting that was implied for her children, due to the whole jar thing. But if you know where it implies it that’d be cool.

Rada/Mara should have Darkness Manipulation (he only uses this to create his missing limb to fight you with but he can still use it to replace missing body parts)

Before the DLC I feel like the debate between on if Marika/Radagon were always one or not could go either way. But Miquella showed that any Empyeran can just rip parts of themselves off and them become a separate person, which also back Malenia's children being offshoots of her other personality traits as well.

So with that said I think now the arc would basically have to go: They're one -> Marika separates them -> They're different -> They refuse

So I'm fine with multiple selves, though it would have to purely apply to them right before Marika separates them or after they fuse.

That’s fine. Post fusion seems more safer since that’s the period where they actively show different opinions.

Though does anyone know which abilities are post fusion? Cause currently their abilities are tabbed as their powers and what they have with the Elden Ring and if we are doing pre and post fusion it’d be helpful to know which powers go where.

Their powers wouldnt change other then just multiple selves. It seems simpler to just index their fused version.

Marika should have some sort of fusionism from the properties of being a shaman. Can merge with other beings physically and with their souls as well.

It's very likely Marika should have multiple souls as well considering how the Jar rituals/creation of Saints works
