Alex Mercer vs SCP-682

SCP-682 has adapted to things much more extreme than Alex Mercer, like a Nuke or a mini Black Hole. Pretty sure that after some adaptation he takes it.

Sadly, SCP 682 wins here.

SCp-682's adaptability usually if not always focuses on survival and defence so SCP can't do much to Mercer either, oh and all Mercer needs to do is consume a piece of SCP-682 and he'll gain it's regenerative properties and possibly it's natural adaptability, it could be a stalemate.

682 can also absorb powers, so they're likely just going to fight untill they're perfectly equal to each other and it'll end in a stalemate.

Yeah, though 682's power absorption may be better than Mercer's. Now I don't know much about Alex, so don't freak out if i say something stupid, but is his absorption able to compete with 682's, which could potentially absorb a black hole that could destroy the solar system?

Umm... Not really but SCP-682 still has DNA, genetics and anything biological and organic in his body right? If so he could gain powers from SCP-682, but even if he doesn't it's still possible for Alex to gain power by consuming/absorbing parts of SCP-682 since Alex has consumed soldiers, their clothes/suits/armours in the process which isn't inorganic and he's somehow able to use a radio communication device with his biomass thing (his body is also completely made out of biomass) even though it was completely absorbed and broke down inside his body and... Can do what SCP-682 can do if he was ever to able to absorb the powers, also Alex btw is a 100+ at tonner in strength at base and can outpace/dodge a sniper bullet by just running, (those aren't his higher end feats/combat achievements) so he isn't a physical push over, idk how strong SCP-682 is, say how strong and how fast is he physically?WeeklyBattles said:

Technically yes, but he has the ability to change the composition of his body from organic to inorganic and vice versa at will. At base 682 is Large Building level with City level durability and Superhuman speed, but through adaptation he can reach at least Hypersonic speeds and Solar System level AP (Though scp 123, the black hole he can absorb, won't be in this battle so that won't really be a factor). His two key factors though are his regen and adaptation, which can make him potentially Universe level in durability and allow him to adapt to nearly every attack or hax almost instantly. Hmm, I think Alex can beat base SCP-682 since Alex has One-shotted Hive Buildings effortlessly (buildings that are infected by the Redlight Virus, is tougher than normal buildings and can regenerate done to it comepletely) by bullet diving into it, has devastators that could destroy several city-blocks if outside of Game mechanics and I think Alex is likely to speed-blitz base 682 since I only see its speed as a bullet timer. The hypersonic speed and solar system level power AP is going to be hard for Alex to catch it but if we're using Alex's Top Speed then it's possible for Alex to tag him and absorb 682's piece of its body and as quick as possible at the start of the fight.
Oh and Alex's two key factors is his regen and and consume ability (if he uses his ability to consume the right opponents/victims with genetic/biological/DNA based powers even if he didn't consume them completely I still think he's potentially a universal level as well, depending on his opponents/victims which is going to take a while seeing he needs to find and absorb his victims/opponents) in this fight, I also think Alex has adaptability as well but it's not really on 682's level.
Conclusion: if Alex goes for the absorb straight away (which he most likely do seeing the enemies/opponents and how he thinks and function) it would become a stalemate
