Bleach vs FF7

Goals

I see there's no theme song, ig Aizen did this to the OP:

Just like how he simply stood and tanked Renji's attack with no damage and then stopped the MC's bankai and theme song with a finger, while casually one-tapping him(Rip OP, you shall be remembered).

This feat also shows that even the MC, despite teaming up with another powerfull fighter, is just a joke to Aizen. It's even more of a flex for Aizen that he was unfazed, although Renji assured Ichigo his technique will create an opening.

(You can also see they both are sweating, just from Aizen's presence).
mqiGPdh.jpeg

I have already shown Aizen one tapping Ichigo in the video, but, ofc, to culminate, he does it to Renji too, who was in disbelief, while blitzing him after he drops Ichigo who was barely hanging on his Bankai, which was in Aizen's hand as if it was trash

One of Sephiroth's most iconic moments is surely him picking up his legendary iconic sword, the Masamune, in Ever Crisis.

The whole team wonders where the blade is, as they couldn't see it anywhere, yet all Sephiroth does is reply with "No, it's here..."

He then casually manifests it like nothing with his own hands:

And continues his epic line, "...and it will be mine."

Makes his sword longer cuz he can:

And then strikes a cool pose:

He then also randomly adds that the sword "Could be longer."

But then, he faces a problem: with such a long sword, he would also need to search for a scabbard that long:

But this is Sephiroth, so he simply makes it disappear:

And then reappear like nothing:

(All of this right after picking up the sword btw)

And lastly, to conclude the aura farming of the scene, we have a comment from Angeal: "This sword shouldn't exist."

Showing you just how powerful and auraful Sephiroth was even at such a young age, being able to master a sword that shouldn't even exist in seconds, and to show off just how badass he is.

Let's start with the big guns

First video:

Up to 0:06, we can already understand the context needed in order to understand the situation the cutscene takes place in: a group of Rhadoran soldiers pushed our Shinra/SOLDIER troops into a corner. Then, our main squad decides to come out and give them all what they've got, only to stop after seeing something descending from the sky (0:11): a white feather. The camera angle changes prospective completely (0:14), we now see a helicopter in the sky, multiple feathers falling down, and birds as candid as the falling feathers passing by, all in slow motion. The camera angle changes once again (0:15), and we're now looking at the ground again, except for the fact that...a new character has appeared. The feathers fall at his feet, the Rhadoran soldiers halt the fire, and we don't get to see the SOLDIER's face — what we see is his blade (0:23). The blade is unsheated, and he's now standing in the middle of the battlefield, giving his back to the camera, and facing off the entire enemy military team combined (0:30). He launches himself into the fight (0:31), the Rhadoran soldiers shoot missiles against the other SOLDIERs — but those missiles were cut in half before they even reached the target (0:37). They all drop their weapons (0:42) — not because they surrended to Shinra, but because they surrended to death (0:47). Not only the entire team is annihilated, but even their cargos and vehicles, with only one man standing in the middle of this carnage (0:57). Reinforcements approach the unnamed SOLDIER, but he activates a Materia (1:03), returning all of his opponents to the ashes God shaped them with. The survivors can only look in disbelief and be amazed at the terrifying scene of said SOLDIER in the middle of the fire of war, of slaughter, of carnage, of strife, of conflict, and so on (1:18), who only then turns around (1:30), showing a face as perfect and beautiful as that of the Devil himself, with only one name obscuring all the thoughts in their mind: the legendary first class SOLDIER, Sephiroth.

Second video:

Third video:

(Take into account that Sephiroth standing in the middle of the flames of Nibleheim is also one of the most iconic cutscenes in gaming history, reason for why you can see it many times across the multiple medias that belong to the Final Fantasy VII universe).

Sephiroth acting nonchalant while having the Buster Sword at his neck:

Sephiroth landing gracefully and nonchalantly after sending Zack into the depths of the Mako reactor with little to no effort:

Sephiroth giving the Jenova stare at Zack, fully showing what the perfect human weapon looks like:

"I am the chosen one. I have been chosen to rule this planet."

His theme starts playing, and he destroys the entire platform but one straight line that still manages to stand:

The game warns you: "If you are driven to the edge, the game is over." What follows is a boss fight in which Zack has to desperately stop Sephiroth from advancing, who just comes closer and closer menacingly, sending Zack, step after step, closer to his demise:

But that's not all, let's also bring in the fight against Genesis and Angeal:

The fight literally begins with a warning from Angeal to Genesis, "Don't take Sephiroth lightly.", as they go into a 2v1 against him:

Yet, they both get their attacks countered, parried, blocked and so on by one man:

This keeps going up until 8:00, where both stop and then decide to charge against Sephiroth at once from two different sides. Yet, he effortlessly blocks their attacks:

Genesis attacks from above, Sephiroth nonchalantly sends him flying back to where he came from:

Then, 2 seconds after (8:16), Angeal decides to charge alone. Despite having a sword more than double the size and weight of Sephiroth's one, he still isn't capable of getting past the legendary blade:

"Ha! Is that the best you can do?"

"All hail Sephiroth, eh?" As Angeal is also sent back flying to where Genesis was:

"Humph. Come and try" after Genesis enchants his own sword with Materia and announces that he will not only take on Sephiroth alone, but also become the new hero

Even with Materia, he is incapable of even giving Sephiroth a scratch while the latter is only using pure swordsmanship:

This is further shown here, with Sephiroth completely blocking Genesis' charge with no effort at all:

Not only Genesis is sent flying back 1 second after (9:07), but he also gets sent into the air right after that:

Sephiroth also proceeds to own him mid-air and send him flying back right after that

Nullifies completely Genesis' Materia:

He does it again:

AND ANOTHER ONE:

He then gaslights Genesis into thinking he will fall down with the rest of the structure (keeping his usual smug smile):

Only for then to obliterate everything in his path and completely bypass Genesis' defenses with mere slashes:

Establishes his superiority once again with mere skills:

Sends Genesis flying AGAIN:

All this with no Materia or anything btw:

Which is further enhanced here, where Sephiroth just makes a small movement with his sword whereas Genesis keeps charging his sword with more and more energy:

From 0-10 up to 0:28 seconds, we can already see the setting where the scene takes place: the entire Super Smash Bros Ultimate cast is struggling against Galeem (the final boss of the game's story) and his army of Hands, on the verge of being completely wiped out from existence by his light. But then (0:34), something unexpected happens: a slash. As everyone stares in disbelief, Galeem has been cut in half (0:41). Before anyone can question the identity of the one behind such an incredible feat, One-Winged Angel starts playing (0:44), and Cloud can only pronounce the name of the culprit with visible fear in his facial expression: Sephiroth (0:51). We then see Sephiroth himself floating in the middle of the sky, with his usual smug smile, hitting a legendary pose (0:58). He then opens his mouth, saying: "I have been waiting for this moment. Now, i shall give Smash despair." (1:03). And from there, one of the most auraful trailers ever conceived by the human mind begins...

(1:12) Sephiroth standing in the middle of the fire, his most iconic scene in the history of Final Fantasy VII. It is also important to note that in this game, Sephiroth is one of the only few characters to have a special winning animation like this one;
(1:15) Sends Solid Snake (from the Metal Gear franchise) back to where he came from with a single slash;
(1:17) Does the same with Marth (from the Fire Emblem franchise);
(1:18) Sends Incineroar (from the Pokémon franchise) flying with a simple attack;
(1:21) Effortlessly fully counters an attack from Hero (from the Dragon Quest franchise) and sends him flying away;
(1:23) Cuts the entire battle arena in half;
(1:24) Auraful pose, nothing much to say;
(1:28) Takes down both Corrin (from the Fire Emblem franchise) and Joker (from the Persona franchise) down with a single upper slash;
(1:30) Makes Link (from the The Legend Of Zelda franchise) explode;
(1:33) Walks menacingly into a literal black hole nonchalantly;
(1:35) Obliterates Zelda (from the The Legend Of Zelda franchise) in a similar way to how he kills Aerith in Final Fantasy VII;
(1:39) Replies with "Pathetic" at the combined forces of Mewtwo, Shiek, Terry and Chrom (from the Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, King of Fighters and Fire Emblem franchises respectively), showing off his dark wing;
(1:44) Very auraful pose with his wing mid-air;
(1:45) Another cool pose with his wing;
(1:46) Completely obliterates Captain Falcon (from the F-Zero franchise);
(1:48) Completely annihilates Ike (from the Fire Emblem franchise);
(1:50) Another very striking and auraful pose of our One-Winged Angel;
(1:53) Makes both Shulk (from the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise) and Mega Man (from the Mega Man franchise) explode;
(1:55) Walks away from the explosion in the coolest way possible;
(2:00) One shots both Bayonetta (from the Bayonetta franchise) and Greninja (from the Pokémon franchise) with a mere slash;
(2:04) Impales Mario (from the Super Mario Bros franchise) with his sword;
(2:13) Smiles at Cloud's attempt at confronting him;
(2:52) Replies with "I will never be a memory" at Cloud's words, who defeated Sephiroth using Omnislash V.5;
(3:00) Transforms into Safer Sephiroth,
completely overwhelming Cloud;

Sephiroth casually deflecting Ifrit's attacks

Also Sephiroth casually one shotting Ifrit

Sephiroth's honest reaction after Genesis tells him the truth about himself (aka, Sephiroth being just an experiment):

"Whether your words...are lies created to deceive me...or the truth that i have sought all my life...it makes no difference. You will rot."

Then i suppose we can go over Sephiroth as the actual final boss of FFVII

For starters, Sephiroth has not one, but two consecutive boss fights: one against Bizzarro Sephiroth, and one against Safer Sephiroth

Focusing on Safer Sephiroth, we can see how the design is both a combination of divinity and monstruosity, of Jenova's godhood and Shinra's sins, which result in the most divine and heretical being the world has ever witnessed: Sephiroth.

But that's not all for our big guy here: one of the most iconic moves in the entire franchise is Safer Sephiroth's Supernova, a deadly spell that locks the entire battle on a minutes long cutscene of the entire solar system collapsing after a meteor launched by Sephiroth penetrates through multiple planets and makes the Sun explode:

AND WE'RE NOT DONE YET

After the fight, something strange happens to Cloud and he starts having a mental crisis. The following are his words:

"He is still...here."

"He's...laughing..."

And then, when Cloud dives into the Lifestream in order to stop Sephiroth once and for all, we see him standing there, mercilessly smiling and laughing, showing off his abdominals and muscles as he is shirtless:

Aura. Itself.

Sephiroth's sheer aura also allows him to have 4 different theme songs:

[Altough the last 3 do sound similar, they should be counted as different due to having different lyrics (the Advent Children one, for example, is in fact a continuation of the one from FFVII if we analyze the lyrics), instruments and overall rythm]

Do also note that One Winged Angel is not only the one and only song with actual lyrics in Final Fantasy VII, but it was also the first song with actual lyrics within the franchise.

Sephiroth stomping now

25 - 120

0:05 Aizen coldly walks out of the room where he stabbed Momo, his most loyal subordinate, which adored him, with an evil pleased smile on his face as he leaves her dying, as a menacing song plays.
0:07 Gin, someone portrayed as the main villain up to that point walks behind him like an obedient puppy, as Aizen is about to reveal who the actual villain is.
0:19 Aizen casually greets a shocked Toshiro with a smile of superiority on his face, calling him "-kun", an apelative used for kids, as Toshiro starts sweating from seeing him, although he wasn't sweating in the slighest after he ran for a short time, being unable for a moment to comprehend the fact he's seeing Aizen.
0:26 Aizen drops this fire line: "Of course. As you can see, I am the real thing."
0:30 Aizen adresses Toshiro but doesn't even look at him, as if he's not worth a look and smiles while looking at Gin as if blaming him for Toshiro's quick arrival. And indeed, Gin apologises for his subordinate not being able to delay Toshiro enough, like Toshiro isn't considered worth to fight them directly.
0:40 Toshiro asks them what they are talking about, once again unable to comprehend what he's witnessing.
0:43 Aizen repeats Toshiro's question as if surprised he is even asking something like this and then proceeds to explain him like you'd do to a kid, while smiling amused, despite Toshiro being 100+ years old he used the most basic strategy against his enemies, divide and conquer.
0:51 Upon hearing the word "enemy" from Aizen, Toshiro is shocked one more time, looking around for enemies, before he finally understands Aizen's words and asking about Momo to which Aizen coldly, yet amusedly replies with "Where could she be…", as if mocking Toshiro.
1:02 Aizen simply stands, allowing Toshiro to dash past him so he can see Momo's body and despair, for Aizen's fun.
1:11 Aizen turns his head and smiles once again, saying "Too bad" and amusedly apologises with no emotion but amusement for the image Toshiro saw, adding that he should have destroyed her body, so Toshiro wouldn't have found Momo, which just enrages Toshiro even more.
1:30 Toshiro, barely holding back his anger, asks Aizen and Gin since when were they working together, trying to guess it was before Aizen faked his death, which made Aizen calmly drop this shocking line: "From the beggining, of course." and fully turn around, smiling again, just to add that he's only ever considered Gin his lieutenant, despite Momo being his lieutenant in name.
1:48 Toshiro rhetoeically asks with hate in his eyes if Aizen has been deceiving everyone all that time, to which Aizen replies with another fire line about things from his POV: "I never intended to deceive. It's just that… none of you could comprehend… my true nature", shifting the blame on the Shinigami for their incompetence and moking them for being unable to see Aizen's true face.
2:18 With pure hate, Toshiro turns towards Aizen, yapping about Hinamori who has admired Aizen and how much she worked to get to be close to him, while Aizen just stands and smiles, finally explaining him that he chose Momo exactly because he already knew that she'd be so easy to manipulate, as Toshiro stares in shock and disbelief.
2:45 Aizen tells Toshiro to listen and remember this as he casually drops one of the greatest manipulation related quotes in history: "Adoration is the emotion farthest from comprehension". You can see how he, once again, smiles with superiority, slightly leaning his head to the right as if he was pitying Toshiro. This enrages Toshiro to a point where he can't control himself anymore and immediately releases his Zanpakto. Aizen is simply watching and smiling, finally jumping backwards slower than Gin, as if he wanted to laugh at Toshiro more.
3:09 Toshiro goes Bankai against base Aizen and instantly attacks him, which Aizen easily dodges.
3:21 Unohana and Isane, the captain and the lieutenant of Squad 4 appear with panicked noises and Aizen just ignores them.
3:22 Toshiro says he will kill Aizen, his words accompanied by his gaze full of hate. Aizen simply smiles, with that superior and pitying attitude, dropping another quote worth gold: "Don't use overly strong words. It'll make you seem weak" as the threatening music starts playing again.
3:33 Toshiro dashes and stabs Aizen who does nothing to defend himself, freezing him, just for Aizen to freely move inside the ice. A moment later, he simply vanishes, of course, smiling.
3:43 Toshiro is surprised and the video slowly starts showing Aizen a few meter behind Toshiro, with his robe fluttering and a moment later, blood gushes from Toshiro, who simply falls to the ground, his Bankai crumbling.
4:04 After just having one tapped Toshiro, a prodigy and captain, Aizen simply smiles and comments how he likes the sight of ice, despite it being the wrong season, nonchalantly walking past Toshiro's body without paying it any attention.
4:18 Unohana adresses him as "Captain Aizen" and then corrects herself, calling him a traitor, to which Aizen finally pays her any attention and greets her with his superior smile.

The manga portrays a few things differently, paying even more attention to details, such as this panel, where it focuses on Aizen's cruel smile as he says a fire line.
G0ag8VF.jpeg

Also, the fight scene is different, in the manga, Aizen doesn't even bother to troll Toshiro with Kyōka like in the anime and simply blitzes and one taps him.

You can see how mercilessly he behaves, pretending to care about her til the very last moment, healing her heart after it was broken, which makes her cry, just to break it once again, but this time, not only metaphorically, through his actions, but physically too, with his blade.
