Currently, he is 7-A a.k.a. Mountain Tier when he has shown the ability to wipe out an entire island with one, effortless attack. He should be at least 6-C.

That isn't enough to put him at island level, the feat of him destroying tenroujima was calc at mountain level a long time ago, by the way he is at high 7-A at the moment which is large mountain level which is the same as small island level, he is'nt getting anymore upgrades until he gets some better feats.

It wasn't a very big island. Just as busting mountains doesn't always make you Mountain level, busting islands doens't always make you Island level.

If he destroyed a country it was likely through gradual bombardment while flying across the country rather than by blowing it up with a single hit. Plus it's never specified how big these countries are.

More than one country to be expecific, Gradual bombardardmen it's possible as well as the one shot, that's true but we can use the smallest country's of FT to get an idea of the sizes.
