This is quick and (hopefully) short CRT.
Purpose of this CRT is to establish that the waves that are produced by "Maus" in fight with Mike trio are intended to be sound waves. There are already calcs that assume these as sound waves and use them as speed reference. So establishing their status as such would be helpful.
In short if you click mouse, Maus will jiggle a bit(and pets or grabs whatever thing or person it's close to), produce sound and wave. Since these waves don't have any apparent gameplay purposes, first idea is that they are associated with sound.
Icon that is used for those waves is same as one of the most popular symbols for sound waves(you can for example see them often if you are searching for sound waves symbol), and they specifically are mainly used to show propagation of the sound. They are similar to sound waves that came from Spamton radio hands, and are somewhat similar to sound waves that Tasques produces. Also there is whole song: "Airwaves", that is used during one of the Mike minigames: "Battat".
As last argument, I personally can't think there could be interpretation for them.
I think it's sufficient evidence to think that Maus waves are intended to be sound waves, and using them as speed reference should be accepted
