Sonic Headcanons are quite common facts about sonic characters. I found most of them on Pinterest

This Sonic headcanon picture talks about how Silver disconnected from the timeline meaning it's possible that he's Acasual meaning that Rosalina's universe reset won't work on him.

If you still doubt me I'll post another picture of Silver's potential in the Multiverse.

How do you know this? The headcanons appear to be official.

If they're not canon to the games then they should be at least canon to the Archie comics.

Because that's literally what headcanon means. Headcanons are things made up by fans, which they see as canon in their own personal interpretation of the setting.

They look official because people put a lot of work into making them look all fancy. They're not canon to anything.

Basically what the others have said. Headcanon literally means fan theories not solidified in the actual work. Those aren't official statements made by Sega, this is fan made stuff.

They're just very nice looking templates and have no basis in fact. As shown in some of these other ones that I found just by searching "Sonic Headcanon."

It took no effort to find where these images originated from; here.

While the blog is closed, but it's made clear in the first post here that all these posts were submitted by fans.

Reppuzan:

So you also consider headcanons about Sonic characters abilities to be outliers even if they were official?

WeeklyBattles:

Just looked up the meaning of headcanon and this proves you right:

headcano. Noun. (uncountable) (fandom slang) Elements and interpretations of a fictional universe accepted by an individual fan, but not found within or supported by the official canon.

Promestein:

Alright. Now that you mention headcanons being fan made I now change my mind and accept that headcanons aren't canon to Sonic games and the Archie comics.

Thanks for the information. I wanted to be sure that I'm not wanking Sonic characters abilities. Now that Headcanons are proven to be fan made I now changed my mind and accepted that headcanons aren't official to Sega.

Alright. I guess this is concluded then. I'll be closing the thread.
