So i know about resistances and stuff but i have a question

Can a person be unaffected by something if they immune to the original cause?

okay what i'm saying is this.

Let's say someone has disease manipulation and that disease manipulation can cause things like regeneration negation and other bad things.

If someone isn't resistant to regeneration negation but is immune to disease manipulation will they still be affected by the regen negation?

basically if someone's powers result in other powers.

if your immune to the main power would the other powers not happen is what i'm saying.

like this bacteria

it's main power is disease manipulation and all the other powers are a result/byproduct of the disease manipulation.

If your immune to disease manipulation. will the result/byproduct still happen or no? and are you still affected.

can anyone understand what i'm trying to say?

No. If you resist the cause, the disease manipulation, you resist the effects it brings by the very virtue of resisting the disease manipulation.

yeah that's what i'm trying to say

basically this character has multiple powers

but a lot of those powers are the results of one of their powers.

so if your resistant to that main power that causes the other powers.

then the other powers won't affect you right

or azontr does this not always apply?
