First up, the calc on Remina's page seems wrong on a multitude of levels. It uses relativistic KE for an object that explicitly moves beyond the speed of light, and also picked an extremely arbitrary value for Remina's relativistic movement speed. Said value is also 0.99c, which on its own would be unusable without the series itself telling us directly this applies to relativistic KE.

Second, none of this even really matters, as the page links to a scan from the manga which in itself is already at least High 4-C, stating planet Remina is destroying the stars around it every time it moves. This would be a minimum of High 4-C, but could also be viewed as significantly higher, so getting some opinions on that would be nice.

It would be completely redundant given it's been already stated that Remina is a planet that extinguishes stars, and having been directly observed by the scientists of them disappearing almost an instant. It doesn't matter if that's treated as a low end result. At least they got the size of it.

The wormhole appeared much before the planet was discovered, that could be Remina itself. Edit: it could possibly do wormhole creation since it could have appeared much further away then the planet's position, which was not really clarified.

Yeah, I'm mainly wondering if people want to peg the destruction of the Hydra constellation as High 4-C or something above that, considering it seems to be instant (which is implied to be the case with the rest of the stars Remina absorbs, as well).

Not sure. It seems to be some kind of wormhole being punched into our universe, so it could be an explosion, or it could be everything around it being sucked into it. That's part of the issue.

Eh... it said it could go close to the speed of light or beyond it, assuming it went close to the speed of light, that would be its KE.

So, the calc is approved by "loophole"

@Dodo

Remina destroying multiple stars by moving close to them, iirc.

@Numbers

Isn't Remina's movement explicitly said to be impossible from the standpoint of our universe's laws of physics, though?

Her speed varies, the lowest is relativistic+ and the highest is FTL, so the calcer used the lowest possible end.

Plus "impossible" doesn't excuse it, it's fiction.lol

Maybe.

Though like I said, I don't know if it matters, because Remina seems to have multiple other feats that would result in a minimum of High 4-C and are potentially much higher.
