Durability for BM3
https://postimg.org/image/ytiipl3kn/
it have 10^58 GeV shielding. and I found calc somewhere that 10^58 GeV = 1.6x10^48 J. which means Tier 4-B. can it be used to upgrade BM3's durability from planet level to Solar System level?
and also found it on SB : https://forums.spacebattles.com/thr...-floodcursors-vs-gb-at-request.403498/page-11
//I was just watching that too, it looks like the monsters in the final battle are quite huge at times: Exelion is 7 km long and Super Exelions have similar dimensions (though there are some double hull ones) so from visuals alone I say some spike monsters were over 100 km long.
If they were simple cilinders 100km long 10km diameter and made of water moving at 0.12c their kinetic energy alone would be ~1x10^31 J. Earth binding energy is only 25 times that. Let's not even talk about their own possible shields, armored skin etc: they were clearly outclassing regular space monsters thus even Super Exelion weren't a match.
Exelions may not be that tough but they clearly outgunned the enemy when they fought with thousands against billions, mass scattering gas giants and even monster motherships rated at 1000km size.
Oh, a little side calc: 6 billions monsters with a tenth of the big ones mass would have a total KE of 6x10^39 J. This is still well below the BM3 shield stat of 1.6x10^48J that naturally survived the impact... then the self-destruction. Next wave barrier collapsed almost immediately so we could derive some facts: 1.6x10^48/(6x10^9) = 2.7x10^38 J, means each monster dealt on average as much damage as the highest estimates for the Death Star superlaser shot.
Think about it: every space monster in that battle could have mass scattered an Earth like planet with a suicide move... and there were billions! //
even if 10^58 GeV thing isn't legit, the calc point out that BM3 survived through 6*10^39 J of KE. which puts it at Tier 5-A in durability.
Overloading Degeneracy Reactor
Degeneracy reactor ("shukutairo" in japanese) overload can make 80 AU blackhole. and every unit, ships or mecha are equipped with Degenrec. I don't know how much mass 80 AU blackhole has, but iirc, someone calcd it to be around 10000 solar mass (someone please correct me if this is wrong).
does this mean Solar System durability for every units as each unit kept '80 AU blackhole/10000 solar mass' under control?
and considering Excelio VGW monster is stated not to 'crawl outta blackhole' but 'completely absorbed excelio blackhole (80 AU) into itself', would it make Excelio have 10000 solar mass too?
Buster Corps von neumann swarm is multi-galaxy buster?
found the calc here :https://forums.spacebattles.com/thr...-vs-gb-at-request.403498/page-9#post-23486707
//The buster corps von newman swarm was big enough to block out all light from outside the solar system the night sky looked red everywhere (most of them were outside the orbit of pluto) each of them has a degeneracy reactor.
Even if we assume the reactors were only as powerful as the original exelion that's still over 10,000 solar masses per a drone that's an absolute shit ton of mass energy laying around.
Just how much is it?
time to add some math
pluto aphenlion 49.3319 AU (lets just assume 50 AU for calc ease)
so a sphere with a radius of 50 AU would yield a surface area of 31400 AU^2 or 4.69737 E+15
4,697,370,000,000,000 square meters each buster corp machine is only a few meters across theirs easily more much much more then a quadrillion of them.
We can go further there's about 1 septillion stars in the universe if we assume they all have just 1 solar mass (would be lower vast majority are red dwarfs smaller than the sun)
That would be 1x10^24 solar masses where does buster corp fall in this picture? assuming only 4 quadrillion (a very low end estimation) around 40 quintillion solar masses or about 00.4% of the total mass energy of the matter in the universe and this is a massive low baller estimation.
Not bad for someone confined to one system that's more then enough mass in black holes to totally nuke over 1000 galaxy's and in series these are considered cheap expendable drones.
Quick and dirty edit: milky way is around 200 billion solar masses buster corps out masses it by 200 million times ouch.//
and someone said that the number is impossible because They would have to empty 100000 galaxies. (then again, this is gunbuster, where you can pull out mass outta nowhere )
and Buster swarm is under Nono's complete command iirc. so... multi-galactic?
so, are these calcs 'reasonable'? would this be upgrading Gunbuster?
