Iirc, we can use a fanart for characters profile if they don't a official illustration. So, how do we solve with characters don't have any illustration (Official illustrations or fanarts...)? Like using pictures that look like what they are described as? Sometimes some characters don't even have a appearance description (like characters that have a role like... an omnipotent god or something...). I don't know if this is allowed or not?

If there are no pictures for the character, then you can't do anything about it. At most, if the cover of the book (even if vague) somehow represent the MC, you could use it as an illustration.

If the character has fanarts however, you can use it only if you credit the artist (and, preferably, ask beforehand for permission).

In the case there is truly nothing and even the cover doesn't allude to the appearance of a character, just do a profile without any illustration, it's not mandatory.

I see.
