Well, both are mostly barebones brawlers with a few other tricks, but Chara probably takes this.

His sword gives him a bit of reach over Abban's knife, and said knife wouldn't immediately kill. Even if it caused damage, DETERMINATION explicitly holds the capacity to grow and get stronger throughout of the fight (That should be on the profile considering the whole origin of Bete and all) and can recover.

In a simple melee like this, Chara easily takes it.
