Well wanted to try my hand at a Yandere-chan match, this popped up in my head so lets try it.

Plot: Info-Chan wants to test Ayano and found a Ditto and sics it on Ayano.
  • Speed is equalised
  • Ayano is 9-B and has a knife and a shovel
  • Ditto is transformed
  • Fight takes place on the grounds of Ayano's school
  • Both start 5 metres apart
  • SBA Otherwise
Yan-Chan: 0

Yan but better: 2

Incon: 0

Okay, Ditto. This one would be a fairer opponent. Ditto is capable of copying practically any opponent, ranging from baby Pokemon to legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo and Lugia. This would include Pokemon that are high in combat smarts like Machamp and Urshifu, along with Pokemon with high general smarts like Alakazam. Manaphy, a mythical Pokemon, literally CANNOT REPRODUCE without Ditto!

Now, the advantage Ditto would immediately have over Yandere-chan is that being a battle-hardened creature, insanity basically cannot exist in Ditto, which allows Ditto to fight in a more focused manner than Yandere-chan. Yandere-chan is only slightly more sane than Yandere-dev, but really, is that even an achievement?

As such, it's pretty easy to give the win to Ditto.

How does Ditto lose in Ditto vs (X) matches?
Via certain things, like said opponent not being as seemingly skilled as it (Though Yan-Chan imo can at least compete here, plus both have knives as iirc Ditto can copy weapons), having a different mindset (Ayano I assume in this key is basically batshit insane while Ditto is fighting with a clear head.)

I mean from what I know of Pokemon all of them are geared towards at the very least being able to throw hands, even ones that live in the wild. I'd say its not as skilled as a Machamp but is more so adaptable in combat. We still have to remember that Ayano in this key is more or less simple minded in her approach. On that topic won't both of them have passive fear manip on the other?

Fair enough, she does basically just brute force it.

However she "snaps" because of a mental thing, like she loses control over her emotions so would Ditto even have her "SNAP" abilities? Also, while Ayano is like this she has straight up immunity to empathic manipulation so I doubt even if Ditto does have her passive fear manip that it would even work on her

I main Ditto should still keep the snap abilities, I see no reason why not as Ayano doesn't have something like "Resists Power Mimicry." I guess the main thing here is Ayano with her single minded approach versus Ditto being more clear headed, skill does seem like a bit of a toss up too.

Apart from intelligence and mindset, stamina is also a factor. Ditto doesn't copy HP so it can only take the same amount of damage as its base unless the opponent has immortality type 2 or something. Additionally, it doesn't automatically know everything its enemy can do so experience matters as well as pointed out above.

I mean doesn't Ditto start off transformed via imposter? I've made an edit for that for the sake of the debate.

Experience yeah but from what I see here Ayano is basically just single minded and only thinking "Kill" with everyone too terrified to fight back so if anything that might handicap herself. Ditto isn't going to have that issue from what I see here.

I mean, yeah? I wasn't making any argument involving that so I don't know why you brought it up.

Just because she's dead set on killing when snapped doesn't mean she has become any dumber, though she has admittedly gotten a lot more self-destructive due to losing her purpose.

Fair fair, guess it'll come to either one landing a blow as both have blades etc. Ayano does technically have home field advantage but it likely won't affect the outcome anyhow.
