A-train speed upgrade (The Boys TV Show)

Agree, though, A-train can be scaled way higher. This is a big lowball, but if that's what the community considers "consistent", so be it.

Not sure what your definition of lowball is when the series explicitly caps him at transonic several times but regardless of that his Transonic was very close to being Supersonic anyways so this is fine.

Was this the A-Train who was using V who got this statement?, I forget

its linked on his pre-heart attack + compund V key https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/A-Train_(TV_Series)#cite_note-S1E4-3
so i guess it is when A train is amped by V

" higher with Compound V[Statistics Values 3] (Has a explicit running speed of 371 m/s, which was done after being amped by unknown amounts of Compound V to cheat on a race[5]. Butcher estimated that he could search all of Manhattan in 30 minutes[10]) "

Gotcha then yeah we'll have to preface that this is with V

do you agree ? also what does preface mean ? :)
if yes, can i directly modify his profile ?

also how does this "supporter/oppenent" thing works ? if it gets accepted i can link my user on the boys page ?

Yeah its fine and what I'm saying is specify in the OP that the Supersonic rating is with Compound V.

And no you have to have some more staff approval to be able apply the crt

Believe it or not, I'm actually inclined to disagree.
First of all, this is more likely an statement towards base A-Train and not V-boosted A-Train, since, while Billy knows about V now, he is not fully familiarized with often A-Train uses it (and in fact, it doesn't seem to be from too long ago) so it's more probable that he simply referred this to A-Train's flat speed

Second, A-Train's speed is pretty much defined in the series, having a 339 m/s record, being scared of losing against a 350 m/s guy, and hitting 371 when amped. Now, of course, writers can underestimate how powerful their characters are... But, if you use these established speeds and the distance used in the calc:

740973.6745 m / 371 m/s = 1997.234 seconds, or 33.29 minutes

740973.6745 m / 339 m/s = 2185.76305 seconds, or 36.43 minutes

Both would under "an estimated 30 minutes", so it doesn't necessarily contradict Butcher's statement.

actually yeah that's actually pretty convincing and still takes into account A-Train's canonical cap so I'm leaning to disagree now here

I really cant agree with that. You would need to assume that Butcher was 100% literal and that he calced the exact speed of A-Train while at same time checking how many miles of road Manhattan has

We already got a statement of his speed and his record, which is only 371m/s. It wouldnt make sense for his record to be more than 2 times slower than his normal speed

Yeah, I also don't think Butcher made a complex calc on his mind, but it is funny he was kinda right using the calculated distance with his canonical speeds.

I made another version with a similar statement from A train himself on his post heart attack key (its on the original calc blog)

Supersonic+ seems like an outlier at a glance. This does make me wonder. Is there any indication that A-Train became slower Post-Heart Attack? I thought it just made him unable to go fast for long and without the high risk of suffering another one?

Homelander says he isn't training and that he might not even be in the top 20 speedters, so yeah, he is slower

Supersonic+ already is pretty outlier-ish, but when you add that A-Train can run for more than a few minutes without stopping, technically he would need to cover said distance in less than 3 hours due to break in between, making it more of an outlier
