So it really depends on how good and skilled each fighter is. Both could grapple or strike with their combat exp in-character.

So far... I'll list advantages...Hikari is ironically harder to hit and can use his agility to hit Eillot. And if Elliot were to try to grapple Hikari, the latter tank the grappling or would get a chance to overpower and immobilize Elliot.

Elliot would need a chance for his strength to be used to use his great skill advantage. Fighting a person that could fight many people is no joke. But like, how would he tag Hikari more likely?

Hikari's combat skill is less defined on his profile. However he's still conditioned to fight larger people as that's the point of grappling martial arts like sumo wrestling up to an extent.

Even though Elliot has never fought a smaller combatant and Hikari (correct me if I am wrong) hasn't fought a person with more skill, I'll lean to the smaller wolf for now

Hikari is decently skilled when it comes to combat even if its just playful. As said above he has skills in sumo wrestling, but he's also adept in sword combat, more out there kinda brawls when in hero form such as fighting monsters who can throw buildings (Altough not as strong and without the ability to fly, he should still retain that kinda skill) and has a high variety of tackle skills from the numerous sport games the children play. So for a child he definitely has a decent skill set
