A question about absorbtion

I've been thinking this for a while, but I was wondering, would absorbing an infinite power source to empower yourself make you infinitely stronger than you were before?

For example: If a baseline 2-A decided to absorb an infinite multiverse to empower itself and added all those infinite timelines into it's own power, would this make the previously baseline 2-A infinitely more powerful than before?

Pretty sure they would only be either baseline or 2x stronger if their verse threat it as such.
