...But yeah hollowness usually decreases the volume of beams by 80% iirc, that kills the calc so hard it’s not even funny

That calc got downgraded all the way to 100 something KJ, so most likely this will result in 600-800 KJ depending on how hollow the beams are (possibly).I remember the wood alone was like 900KJ, so it's probably around 1-2 MJ (I think?)
Think these might be the beams, your man said “flex beams” so I googled that and this is what I got, not sure though, might not be
Thanks to the holes it’s probably closer to 85% hollowness

The thing holding me back is the website selling them advertised them for a WHOLE other thing, they’re not really meant as primary support of a structure like the beams are for the ring matThese probably are the most realistic depiction of the beams.
I mean if something is designed to be more flexible, wouldn't that make it denser/tougher by default? I'm not an expert, though.I looked up if flexible steel is designed to be in any way denser/tougher than usual steel but couldn’t find a useful answer either way
Then I guess we'll just use flex beams and assume they're 85% hollow?I can’t find an exact type of beam, but pretty much every “how to build a pro wrestling ring” YouTube tutorial uses hollow beams
Nah they don’t use flex beams, no wee holes in the middleThen I guess we'll just use flex beams and assume they're 85% hollow?
Applying hollowness to the beams means the feat is at absolute best < 5 MJI can’t find an exact type of beam, but pretty much every “how to build a pro wrestling ring” YouTube tutorial uses hollow beams
That's still a W imo.Applying hollowness to the beams means the feat is at absolute best < 5 MJ
That’s for the 9-A feat so we’re clear, so we’ll be lucky to breach Megajoules for any of the calcs at this point given issues with the wood as wellThat's still a W imo.
Considering we have 3 different calcs, we can possibly get some decent results.

Psycho had his issues with defining portions of the wood split as “fragmented” for the 9-A calc at leastI don't remember ever being any issues with the wood.
UggghhhhhPsycho had his issues with defining portions of the wood split as “fragmented” for the 9-A calc at least
They're saying that there's supposedly a method of calcing feats of bending objects against something, but none that they know of.What about the LS calc?
@Adem_Warlock69 @PikamanThey're saying that there's supposedly a method of calcing feats of bending objects against something, but none that they know of.
Other than that, the math seems fine.
That's what they basically said.
No need to @ us, we’ll respond in our own time
Wdym? You still can’t apply frag to stuff that wasn’t fragged tho
But how do we know it wasn't fragged thoYou still can’t apply frag to stuff that wasn’t fragged tho
Because Psycho said so or smth smth, it’s still somewhat attached to the ringBut how do we know it wasn't fragged tho
Psycho doesn’t know but says there’s probably a formula out there somewhereHow do you even calc ripping/splitting wood lol
I think Arceus0x can help with thatHow do you even calc ripping/splitting wood lol
You’re*We're so down bad right now
i went to sleep lolArmor we can talk about this. We don't have to downgrade the verse significantly once again...
Apparently Psycho thinks the wood was split (refer to the Big Show slamming Undertaker calc).i went to sleep lol
what are the issues with the wood though? it looked fine
