• Creation: The Great Spirit can create new life forms.
• Memory Manipulation: During the time slip, Mata Nui has erased the memory of all the people of the Matoran Universe.
• Heat Manipulation: The Great Spirit can manipulate the heat of the Matoran Universe.
• Weather Manipulation: The Great Spirit can control the climate and the weater of the Matoran Universe.
• Matter Manipulation: Mata Nui has created the Makuta by shaping the Antidermis from liquid to solid state.
• Limited Precognition: When Teridax was the Great Spirit, he can see all the fate of its people.
• Possibly Death Manipulation: The Great Spirit can kill any beings in the Matoran Universe with a thought but it must have some means involved.
• Resistance to Mind Manipulation/Telepathy Mata Nui has a resistance to Manipulation.
• Light Manipulation: The Great Spirit can manipulate the light of the Matoran Universe.
