I suppose the most important question is how many layers Nameless has to their resistances, since that narrows down Orcus' options considerably.

edit: particularly Conceptual Manipulation since that is a rather significant point for Orcus.

Determinating "layers" its always arbitrary, what I can say is that is that John have a Magic Resistance (MR) and Psychic Resistance (PsR) of 155 and 140 respectively (the sheet actually says 135 and 110, but they do not account for the Nemesis boost, and wrongly calculate the PsR). How good is that value? Can't confirm for sure, but the average human has a MR and PsR of 30, and since they can only obtain a 100 in a d100 maximum, it means that a RM/PsR of 140 is too much for the average human to handle.

Now in numerical terms, this is not really relevant in Anima (or even in other verses), but if there's an effect that would cover the globe and has a RM/PsR of 140, that means that, statistically, no human would be able to resist it (although, since there's people with at least 5 points of Gnosis above their Natura, statistically, the effect may fail, as those individuals have a 1% chances of resisting everything, regardless of potency of the power). Now, not all individuals are average, there maybe few peak humans, individuals with a considerable power and the better will between humans, those have a top MR/PsR of 60. That means that a difficulty of 180 (resistance difficulties of 170 are kind of uncommon) one have guaranteed to mind control all individuals in the planet or even more (assuming one have the aoe) without counting the individuals of considerable power such Eli, Gaul of Romeo (and yet, those could have difficulties reducing the effects).
