If we’re being realistic, mongrel dogs generally have advantages over pedigree breeds like French Bulldogs in a fighting context. Mixed breeds tend to have greater genetic diversity, which often means better overall health, stamina, and durability. In contrast, French Bulldogs are bred primarily for companionship and appearance, with traits like brachycephalic (short-snouted) faces that limit breathing efficiency and endurance.

On top of that, mongrels raised in harsher or less sheltered environments may have more real-world experience dealing with other dogs, making them more adaptable and resilient in confrontational situations. While individual variation always matters, from a practical standpoint, a physically robust mixed-breed dog would typically have the edge over a heavily specialized companion breed like a French Bulldog.
