A revision to The Amazing World of Gumball. This is a small downgrade I want to get out of the way before I perform the most major upgrade to it of all time.

The profiles of Gumball and Richard currently claim that the two can keep up with Nicole in martial arts during some occurrences. However, this is untrue, and should be removed from the profiles. To be precise; Gumball will still keep "Martial Arts" listed on his profile because of his fight with Rob during The Bus, but the evidence of being able to decently keep up with Nicole should be removed, and "Martial Arts" should be outright removed from Richard's profile.

Nicole was obviously restraining her full capabilities because she was against her family in frivolous matters, so she intended to not necessarily best them in battle and not get them injured. If she wasn't restraining herself, then she would've one-shot them due to being much stronger than them, which the VS Battles Wiki already acknowledges due to the difference in tiering that's already in place.

Gumball and Richard didn't even do well against the skill that Nicole was using against them. The most impressive thing that happened was during The Remote where Richard grabbing Nicole while she was distracted until she flipped free a few seconds after, and Richard kind of blocking her impressive attempt to get a remote from him until he failed to keep up with her moments later, followed by him and the others not even being able to approach Nicole without getting outclassed. None of that demonstrated Gumball and Richard having impressive combat skills, especially not any that are nearly comparable to Nicole. The occurrence during The Parents was just Nicole preventing the rest of her family from putting sweets in the shopping cart; Nicole's family wasn't focused on fighting her directly, and even regardless of that fact, the rest of Nicole's family clearly didn't stand a chance that time. We could list "Acrobatics" on Richard's profile because of the cool flip jump he did at the beginning though.

Yeah Nicole is blatantly the best fighter in the entire verse, so nobody should scale to her in terms of skill (except Yuki)
Rather than giving Gumball, Richard, or Darwin Martial Arts they should just be given Skilled Fighter instead

Acrobatics for Richard make sense

What specifically do you have in mind that should be used as evidence of Richard and Darwin having "Skilled Fighter" listed on their profiles?
While neither of them scale to Nicole, both of them at least showed somewhat competent combat skill against her (but were easily outmatched)

Darwin has shown basic pacifistic grappling skill, he's skilled at smashing stuff, he had a brief fight with Gumball but lost, he beat up some boyscouts armed with basic weapons alongside Gumball, he also fought with his own copy cat

Richard has noticably weaker evidence, but he has oneshot Patrick with a rake, can juggle chainsaws while blindfolded, when motivated by food he managed to chase down and suprise attack Gumball

Anais should also probably get skilled fighter as shown here

Thanks for compiling some evidence. 👍

Some of that counts as Weapon Mastery instead, such as Richard juggling chainsaws. Also, I think "Basic Fighting Skills" is a better way to word what doesn't involve weapons out of the information you provided, so I'll write that instead when this thread gets accepted.

completely forgot about this

Since this is entirely uncontroversial, you can apply this already @James_Plays_4_Games
Okay, thank you. I will do that.

Alright, I finished applying the revisions. With this out of the way, my next plan is the most major Gumball upgrade of all time! I plan to post it in a few days. 😎
