That was the second to last episode. Final episode Danny is comparable to Vlad in power which is why he's rated at High 6-C to Low 6-B like Vlad.

Then yeah, Danny just wins because Ghostly Wail being his instant win button against a guy he knows is trouble without any plot mcguffins to save him.

Jokes aside, a case can definitely be made on both sides, especially with how we’ve seen both develop their powers time and time again, as well as having to encounter each other in different scenarios. Plus they’ve both outsmarted each other more than once. You could always argue Vlad being more matured and superior in general intelligence means he should naturally take the combat skill advantage. But Danny’s ability to develop at the rate he does, better himself in the use of his powers, and fight versatile ghosts on a daily basis has pulled him through most of his career as a hero

At the end of the day, Danny probably comes out victorious. If you wanted to look at raw AP, he takes the advantage given his Ghostly Wail, and he’s more than capable of utilizing all of his techniques to their full potential at this point. The two are definitely gonna be scoring hits on each other, but the difference is, if Vlad gets Danny in vulnerable state, he’s still gotta make sure he does enough to take him out. Danny on the other hand, has a chance to use Ghostly Wail if Vlad’s left open enough even once
