There's not really a need specifically to add references, as a form of code, on CRTs. You can just link to the scans and say where they're from. If you do want to portray it in a reference format you'd have to make it manually[1]. Although that really isn't necessary and doing just the aforementioned linking of scan and saying where it's from is better.

If you make a CRT about something you do need to present scans about it though, just saying where it's from without showing it, especially if it's something like a film, is not advisable.
