I think Holmes takes it fairly easily. Shephard has armor, a knife and more formal training but he's basically the sort of person Holmes takes down with ease. He's probably gonna take a glance at him and realize he can get past the armor with a hook under the right armpit, followed by quickly swiping his knife away and hitting the side of his neck with a hand chop , finishing it up with a kick to the nuts or something.
