It has been said that Loki from the Magnus Chase series (and mythology) caused earthquakes on Earth while writhing in his cave. Based on this, is there a way to calculate or estimate how much Ls Loki would need to have to cause, say, a magnitude 4 earthquake? Or is this only scalable to AP...
I already made a calc for a feat of this nature here but now I’m unsure if I did it right
Primary calc: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:GraveDigger84/Enceladus_shakes_Mount_Diablo
Secondary calc: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:GraveDigger84/Percy_shakes_Hubbard_Glacier...
As the title says, are you able to make the ground or structures shake like an earthquake when the source of it is in the air? If so, what would the formula be for that?
If so, what would the pressure be?
So I was wondering, if you survive being at the epicenter of a blast that creates a planetary quake that agitates the crust, where you just hop up off the ground backwards with no damage, what magnitude would that be?

No source at all. The AP links to freaking Earthquakealabama site. Ik a profile that seems to scale from it too. Can we please figure this out? Is there some other source for this?
All I found thus far is this post right here without...
I was wondering, what would be the use of the Earthquake magnitude chart be for if it is felt across the world with scattered occasions of chasms opening up in the earth where there is lava even?
In this page, Earthquake Calculations, it has you go to this site to get the first values for the Natural Earthquakes calc on the section of that page with the same name.
The page says "Instead of looking at the 'Energy' section, one looks at the 'Seismic Effects' section again. There a value...
So, I have made an effort to try and calculate One Punch Man's Overgrown Rover's AP. Earlier, I didn't think of this because there wasn't any set size calculated for Z city. But now that it is there, I have decided to calculate rover's feat. This happens during the fight of Rover with Garou when...
Heya. So, I'm working on a Monster Prom profiles. And here is one of the feats I'm unsure of.
Magnitude 12 Earthquake.
What the energy of such earthquake would be?
Cutting it short, earthquakes take place far away from the surface, to the point that-/+ 1 km is a small margin of error compared to depth. Well, their hypocenter does. Our basis for the magnitudes, the description for them, is the description of what it's like on the surface, not the epicenter...
Soz I'm gonna model off one of my fav earthquake calcs, to compare this method to a feat I wanted to calc and see how legit this method would be in practiciality and get some feedback.
"Biceptus almost single-handedly suppressed the Great Protein Rebellion of the Vegebrodies. His turgid biceps...
I had this question for a while. I wonder if it can be answered and this can be calculated
If you ask, I mean just survive the weight of the wave crushing you and the pressure. Not the lack of oxygen.
so from the game Age of Mythology Titans, in the expansion with the Chinese Civilization, it is confirmed that the earthquakes experienced are from the Titans rampage all the way in europe, so furthest Titan away from Eastern China is one in Norway, so that is roughly 7500 km in distance from...
In this calc for Whitebeard's Earthquake, one of the answers say it is 13.26 or 1.17 petatons, what does that mean? is it 13.26 or 1.17 petatons? is there another step to this?
is it related to the logarithm?
Please help...
