    Dust that's only placed on one side of his face rather than everywhere on his body? Also, if he kicked Sasuke's arm, it'd redirect the Chidori downwards or sideways, which doesn't add up with the Chidori hitting its initial target (the ceiling). So idk about that.

    No, I agree. I prefer the manga version of that fight too. The anime adaptation was just really well-executed for Itachi vs Sasuke, which isn't always the case. Kinda crazy that we got Jiraiya vs Pain and Itachi vs Sasuke back to back. We were so spoiled back then lol.

    Yes, but the thing is that they were relative in base and Guy had the gates to amp his stats to possibly keep up with and/or overwhelm the Sharingan's Precog. So it kinda evens out. Y'know similar to KN0 Naruto or Killer Bee overwhelming Sasuke's sharingan, kinda.
