Agreed. I'm not sure who Death Battle could reasonably pick to go up against the Shifting Mound. Once you get to that level of eldritch, cosmic absurdity the matchups quickly become few and (imo) uninteresting.
Not sure BFR would even be needed here. Luffy has an astronomical lifting strength advantage and it is entirely in character for him to use it, especially against an agile opponent like Yuji.
Putting aside Luffy's other advantages, I don't see why Luffy wouldn't eventually just wrap his body...
The thing is this wouldn't particularly matter if Subaru doesn't plan on killing her. Even when TLQ views the Princess as a real threat (i.e taking the knife at the top of the stairs) she can still be talked to and reasoned with, which means Subaru's win-con fundamentally does not change, it's...
I don't think (?) the narrator would actually change the outcome that much. Like Phoenks said way earlier in the thread, Subaru wouldn't really trust an ominous voice telling him to murder someone, and insisting on it would probably just make him grow all the more suspicious.
I think...
Bit confused how a Heavenly Restriction would even operate in another verse.
Would it make them superhuman in comparison to other humans in that verse or would it just increase their stats to Toji/Maki's level?
Regardless of the outcome things aren't going to "be quiet" for a while.
If Kamala wins we're 100% getting "stolen election" discourse (again) for the next few months, alongside all the waves of disinformation and inner-government conflict that'll follow.
looks really good!
I think she's really the only new princess worth indexing, right? Happily Ever After doesn't really have any powers by herself that I've seen, and I don't think the shadow really has many feats from which you could get stats.
This battle really feels like this meme where the top is "Merlin gets TK crushed" and the bottom is "Merlin instantly analyses everything about her, processes this information, and uses one of the few opening moves that could win her the fight, all before Tats twists her into a meat puddle"...
Trunks didn't really "outskill" Frieza though. He one-shotted him with a sword slash then dismembered the remains iirc. I wouldn't argue if you said Goku was superior to Krillin, sure. but Trunks? At this point in the series? Idk bro.
I mean it's still notable when we're talking about skill...
Kuroki has shown that he can grow to predict fighters who resist his standard predictions. Agito's Formless is specifically stated to be an everchanging, unpredictable fighting style, which adapts itself to counter any strategy, yet Kuroki figured it out in mere moments during their fight. his...
A lot better based on...what? Do we have any concrete statements of Gohan being more skilled than say.....Master Roshi? Who Krillin studied under for much longer than Trunks did Future Gohan.
Krillin has a clear edge in battle experience (on top of a greater wealth of techniques), is a...
Why is it that anytime Oda displays light speed as being fast, someone comes out and asks this
Not really. We literally have multiple instances in Egghead of people reacting to, intercepting, and dodging Speed of Light attacks.
As well as the fact that Kizaru himself can explicitly move...
Honestly, something like that should have been in the manga itself instead of "confirmed" through statements.
Feel like it was a missed opportunity to display Kizaru doing something like that.
The prisoner's body is solidly 9-C at least. During the Cage route, we see that she can fight evenly with TLQ (his headless body, at least) while he's using the Pristine Blade.
I would just list her as [Insert agreed upon stats here] Higher with Chains. Considering the chains can easily pierce...
The Cage route has a really clear showing of Subjective Reality in case that needs more justification.
In which The Long Quiet is able to successfully cut chains he otherwise couldn't break, just by believing he could.
I'd like some of the abilities I suggested to be included, if possible.
Bodily Weaponry. we see him using his claws against Adversary.
Instinctive Reaction: Through clearing his mind, he is able to achieve a state free of thought and self, where his body moves on its own.
Weapon Mastery...
hm. Guess they decided he just flatly has a beak then ig, Instead of only having it sometimes. Consistent with him having it in the "Princess and the Dragon" chapter ig.
More proof for Bodily Weaponry anyway. As beaks qualify.
Adding onto this. The Long Quiet should definitely be given Bodily Weaponry. we see him using his claws against Adversary.
As well as Minor Shapeshifting: As stated by one of the developers, His nature is a paradox, causing his appearance to shift in a manner similar to the Princesses. He both...
It's big yeah but like...It's pretty organized I feel. I personally never had any difficulty navigating it; the tabbers are pretty clearly labeled. But I won't oppose it if other people want a complete profile split.
As long as we transfer all the Stats/Standard Tactics/P&A stuff into their...
Those could definitely be sub-bullet points below Multiple Selves yeah!
We could also shift the justifications for his Supernatural Willpower as an aspect of his "Multiple Selves". Such as The Stubborn convincing TLQ to keep fighting after "Death" and The Paranoid keeping his vital organs from...
Perhaps we could move the Shifting Mound and Multitude stuff to a separate profile? No idea how else we'd go about splitting it, there isn't really a clean way to do so.
Unless you want to like...split EVERY princess variant into its own profile.
I also think the following abilities could be added as well: If we're going to revise his P&A a bit.
Instinctive Reaction: Through clearing his mind, he is able to achieve a state free of thought and self, where his body moves on its own.
Weapon Mastery: skillful enough to fight on even terms...
Speaking of the Long Quiet. During the next revision, can we add "Multiple Selves" to his profile and explain how his "Voices" work? Always struck me as odd his profile doesn't mention them.
Especially because their presence has been shown to both help and hinder TLQ, depending on the route.
