So how does TTGL get infinite physical AP (which is what High Universe level is) from barely harming Granzemboa, who gets it's Universe+ AP from harming TTGL in the first place? That's nonsencial.
Their profiles don't explain what feat made Granzemboa Universe+ (scaling to TTGL is just circular...
So why is TTGL High Universe-level from resisiting the Infinite Big Bang Storm?
I was sure a Big Bang-like attack was Universe-level at best (eg. Pre-crisis Superman, Earthworm Jim etc.) or less (eg. Gumball has multi-Galaxy durabilty from surviving it for some reason). Maybe the implication is...
Well the thing about the Vaatu and Raava thing is that they are both seen changing size and strength throughout. Sometimes they are very large and powerful, other times they are small and weak (like when Wan was carrying Raava in the teapot) depending on the circumstances of who is winning the...
Giegue should scale to Maria, since he's meant to be more powerful than her. He doesn't have any evidence for being Planet level.
I was mainly refering to the Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings clay figures but I guess they're fine for the sake of consistency.
Being possesed by Giygas...
Are there any profiles that need to be updated?
Also, this might be better discussed in a separate thread but I think some Earthbound/Mother profiles are better off with fan-made art instead of the pictures we currently have. Earthbound/Mother doesn't tend to have much official art beyond a few...
PK Flash is practically treated like an epilepsy-causing attack, so that makes sense. I'm interested in what DarkAnine has to say.
Here's the evidence I have gathered of light-properties in Earthbound/Mother attacks so far:
- Certain enemies, like the Diamond Dog and Mani-Mani-Statue, are said...
By that standard any attack in fiction with a light-related name would be considered lightspeed, but we usually need some further proof of it actually behaving like natural light beyond just the name.
There's not much evidence to suggest PK Flash attacks at lightspeed. Especially considering that most enemies who know it are electric-themed, not light-themed, and that Lucas learns it inside the Lightning Tower. So if anything the attack would be more comparable to electricity or lightning...
Ness was upgraded via becoming one with the Universe according to a wise rock you meet later on in the game irrc.
I don't see the point of having a separate key for Magicant since:
1. He needed the 8 melodies to do so and once he came back he was upgraded to 3-A. So we'd be giving him a key...
Ness' Magicant feat is kinda irrelevant seeing as it was one event that happened shortly before he gained 3-A powers and that event isn't really applicable in a fight since he only managed to do it after getting the 8 melodies (which upgraded him to 3-A shortly after anyway).
I've noticed many Earthbound/Mother profiles have put their speed as Light speed because they can dodge "lighting". This is clearly a mispelling of lightning, which would put them at MHS+. I know this because not only are the examples of enemies they give ones that control lightning, not light...
But that's the one where he runs to catch the lightning which we discussed is probably an outlier. Not sure if that calc uses Zuko's running as part of the calc. Otherwise I don't have a problem with it but it'd be better either way to use a different feat. Just my two cents, I'm not an expert...
I wonder if it would be useful to have a sort of scaling diagram or flowchart for verses with lots of characters. Starting with the character where a stat originated from like an AP or speed feat and the connecting them to whoever they scale to and so on. This might be a lot of work but for some...
This x100!
Some verses (like Mortal Kombat) are also full of "via powerscaling to/defeated/fought" and then a long list of characters but those characters' profiles are also scaled to another long list of characters. This means it takes ages to find the character where the stat originated from.
Yeah, Zuko's run just seems like plot convenience. No other times do we see a character travelling that fast when lightning is fired (unless you count Aang's roll in Ozai's fight but that'd probably count as dodging the attack rather than travel speed).
For the Amon thing, I guess what you said about range made sense but just because a character fails to dodge something at one point or another that doesn't mean they can't dodge it at all. Otherwise most fights in fiction would just be everyone dodging everything and never taking a hit. For...
The first time Amon saw the lightning travelling towards him and then dodged it, whereas the other time Mako used it right in front of Amon at almost point blank range while Amon was blood-bending his body. Watch the clip.
Amon was clearly caught off-guard in that later scene (since he was blood-bending Mako, which usually stops them from bending) and was too close to Mako to dodge it.
The fact I've said this in like 3 sepperate threads this past year is why we seriously need a special note or page explaining the...
@XING06 Read my initial post. They do indeed dodge lightning (Aang once and Amon twice) and the arrow/explosion feats shouldn't be used to downplay the verse as my post tried to explain.
Some people in the comments seem to be forgetting the most important point I made: That lightning-bending in Korra can be used to power machinery (conducting into it via a lighning rod) and that it can conduct and redirect electricity from machinery.
Personally, I can't remember the difference...
...to hit Aang, which they never did anyway) are the outliers here.
Rebutal #3: How can the characters dodge lightning when they struggle to dodge *insert throwing weapon here*?
The speed of said weapon would drastically depend on the power and speed of the thrower. A kunai thrown by a Naruto...
I could maybe imagine certain villains and aliens scaling to XLR8 in combat/reflex speed but XLR8 is consistently treated in the original series as "the ridiculously fast one" so it seems a little weird to just scale them like that. I think there's more of a change that the other characters...
Just my two cents.
- I explained already why Avdol fearing DIO and the World is flawed reasoning for power scaling.
1. Avdol has no knowledge of how physically powerful the World is. In fact, he has almost no knowledge of it at all.
2. Avdol is scared of DIO because of their previous...
Wasn't Death 13 going to kill Jotaro and the others, which should put it at like Large Building? Then again, Death 13 seems to attack via dream manipulation so no idea if that counts as AP.
Ness could only create Magicant due to the sound stone and 8 melodies and right after visiting it he became 3-A so I don't really see the point in putting it in his profile.
