Alright,

So, in a verse where the soul is both the nature and mind of a being, there's a conflict between both.

The mind believes in a false idea of it's nature as fully mortal, the true nature however fights that off, causing a sickness to the being.

Can the nature be regarded as a concept? Type 3 specifically.

Would really depend on how this "nature" is defined, as without further detail it doesn't sound like even type 3 compared to a normal soul that happens to have fancy semantics.
