Wym? Just put the data in the formula, no need to figure out the logic behind it. I have no idea how it works, for example.

ah, hold on, 70deg/2 isn't the same as 35, i don't really know why i'll admit. The way I'd calc it is simply copy/paste the formula itself in google and it does it for me.

So if you look up "2atan(tan(70deg/2)*[96/497]) in deg" i get the result, 15.40 degrees.

Alright, I figured the distance. What to do now to figure the speed? (Don't mind the current blog, I'll make it more presentable when all the possible calcs are done)

Basically you draw another line, and that one's gotta describe the movement he made- so you can draw it between the center of his head in both afterimages or something.

Then you get the muzzle speed of the guns used, and use this formula: Distance Moved by Character * Speed of Object / Distance Moved by Object = Speed of Character

By the way you should have preferably used the panel where he does the dodging to find the distance. It doesn't matter much so don't worry, but in general that's better if possible.
GoldenScorpions
GoldenScorpions
Yeah, I realize I should have used the dodging panel, because now I don't see how I can get the distance the dodger crossed as it is...
Armorchompy
Armorchompy
Yeah that's right. You should use that panel yeah. My apologies for not specifying

I've got this now. To determine the distance the dodger crossed, (the yellow line), is it: panel-dodger(red) distance - panel-dodger(green) distance?
Armorchompy
Armorchompy
Nah, just estimate the dodger's height (probably 175 cm or something) and then do character height / character height in pixels * movement in pixels to obtain the movement's distance. Either the red line or the green line work but I'd use the red one

The value I find at the end of all calcs would be the dodger's reaction speed?
Armorchompy
Armorchompy
Indeed.

It is, yes, but it would be quite a lot of effort. You'd need to calculate the volume of everything that's being destroyed by pixel scaling it off the woman in the panel, put it all together and then multiply it by our fragmentation value for rock.
GoldenScorpions
GoldenScorpions
That does seem painful. At the end, you'd end with joules/cc2, how would you use it to get AP? I tried searching, but couldn't find something.
Armorchompy
Armorchompy
Nah, you're doing cc x (J/cc) so the two cc cancel each other out and you end up with Joules. And yeah it would definitely be fairly tough so it's fine to just consider it a Wall level feat without a calculation behind it.

Master! I present to you the results of my training. If you can, would you mind giving me the honor of evaluating my humble calculations?

Greetings again. Do you think you will have time and be able to check the calcs?
GoldenScorpions
GoldenScorpions
Bump? Is it something you're not comfortable with calcing?

I'm sorry, I somehow missed your messages twice in a row. I was legitimately wondering if you'd just left the calc hanging, I'm seriously sorry. I'll check out the calculations now.
