1. This is hard to answer the story often revolves around somewhat retconning any limitation they establish upon the Omnipotent.
As you know I'm not really well versed in tiers above high 1-B and such. But
Initially I assumed Crimson Horizon being canvass being the 1-A because they ignore dimensional barriers and are unchanging principle that if something is created then it will be fated to be destroyed or erased. This applies to everything. Then it was established they cannot reach the boundary which is God's Domain and the Omnipotent in the infancy of the world casted away the unchanging principle of death and destruction and replaced it with rebirth and destruction. making boundary well superior.
But then they put limitations that the power of Boundary is not all powerful. Only to be later established that is because the one powering the Boundary is just a clone.
Then they established another truth that there is no true physical body for God's and their true selves is metaphysical and any physical manifestations are just vessels for their power to be exerted.
The latest story ended with the crew accessing Boundary to find out the entire truth and at the same time undo the deaths etc which implies once again that the boundary even without the clone can still reverse the unchanging principle of death.
Hopefully the story they release at the end of February will all connect to this because the 10th anniversary is the initial end of the game but because it was successful they of course will keep the story going.

2. At best it is Fourth wall breaking. The game tries to avoid Plot related r>f outside gags or collaboration gags.

One is the Bobobo Collab where Bobobo contacted Sky Bahamut to talk with the higher ups to extend their collaborations. And Gag Vyrn saying he can't do that all things are following the things as dictated by these higher beings (writers etc)

Then another which is a bit more serious story is when It was established that death flags exist in granblue as a thing and being aware of it will not save you if the death flag is set. The captain wasn't affected by said Flag despite saying a line that is flagged 2x.

Then there is also the fever dream event where no magic existed in Sky-realm but ended in where they end up in a space where all the books and history of the original world and locations are floating until they remembered these are their memories and they finally remembered Lyrics allowing Captain to wake up in Sky-Realm.

Now whether or not Captain resist it I do not know.
But he definitely do not resist the writers as well we are real and he isn't
Some music composers are actually characters in the game but they have different names than their real life counterpart.

2) Are there any plot related hax or resistances in the verse? And would the Captain happen to possess or resist said abilities?

Bobobo being in the collab is having a really good plot user, but i'm not expert in grandblue fantasy just in Bo-bobo, just know he was altering the script to have 365days of April fool, creating flashbacks/stories with characters that i dont know, and the event started to be weird but funny. Sorry to intrude like this but I'm preparing a personal RT cannon/composite so I was a little interested in the verse. @TheGreatJedi13 if you have any informations with Ultimate Bahamut, Vryn(stats), Captain feel free to message me. Yes, he forced the collab to last for 365 days by rewriting some scripts but mostly behind the scenes that didn't affect much the story progression, and it was only revealed 365 after he tried contacting them.

Ultimate Bahamut is Sky God and one of his forms. There's a lot of him but they all share the same power with the Sky God being the only one with full access. Ulti Baha is hinted to have near complete access to Sky-God based on his ability names one being notably "Omnipotent's Cocoon" before awakening to Super Baha. this similar process was later then revealed as someone the Otherworld also used when they Dragged the Clone of Omnipotent to fully assimilate him in the real world outside Boundary/Estalucia. So all in all the fact that he can summon Ulti Baha makes him dangerous lmao

Vyrn April fool stats scales to Captain because he replaces Captain in his parody series and everything Captain defeated he defeated in his alternate story

Captain on the other hand is a bit more complicated for being tied to almost 10 years of stories and now also tied to infinite versions of himself

Yes he only extended the event some days, it was funny to see an April Fool having several days.
