Sure, which is why I am fine with the VPN explanation remaining. The VPN/IP issue alone doesn't change too much however. The rest of the evidence is positively damning on it's own.

Personally, I am not sure why you are willing to believe they share an Imgur account. I think the very notion is something that would only be proposed by a sockpuppet to defend themselves, and I do not consider it a plausible scenario at all.
