It's not about the translation tho. It's about a miscomprehension you had.
Mash doesn't have the rank high enough where she can phase through higher dimmension.
Her skill description in game only limit to Wall of Chalk Obscured in Time (時に煙る白亜の壁, is a defensive Skill that allows one to arbitrarily apply invincibility to someone in the party. The power of one's Noble Phantasm also increases a bit. Following how it "obscures", the target temporarily shifts out of the time axis to avoid an attack.
She doesn't have the higher D part where it's only elabored in the material when talking about the higher rank.
It's why she is just 6C too

If the text says "The higher the rank, the greater the ability to phase through attacks from higher dimensions" then that is that.

The text logicaly can't say that (since it would mean she can do it for some higher D attack and some not???), and mash litteraly show that she doesn't have the ability to do it since she died facing the higher D attack from Goetia. And that her skill description doesn't mention it since her rank is -.

If you're saying her feats contradict the text, that's one thing, but it does not change what the text actually says.

It does because the text don't exist in her game profile when it's talk about her skill rank.

It appears that the text actually says "the higher the rank, the greater the ability" which means it's a spectrum, not an if/then clause.
