Ok.
Some evidence from the Hercules cartoon series(which the Disney profiles use a few feats from)
In Hercules and the Secret Weapon it was said that Zeus' lightning said to be the strongest weapon in Olympus(Hades and Ares have shown to fear it).
In Hercules and the River Styx, Hades used some chains to restrict Poseidon and Athena(keep in mind gods can teleport in the show)
In Hercules and the Owl of Athens simular chains were used on Athena & Ares and were said by Ares kids(who had intelligence boost at the time)that they were made to bind gods.
In Hercules and the Prometheus Affair, Hercules(despite depicted as weaker than the later throughout the episode) realesed him with his chains with just his brute force.
In Hercules and the All Nighter, it was said that gods are naturally stronger than demigods as Hercules couldn't even remove the besheet from a sleeping Morpheus.
(I will have to later double check as it has been some time since I haven't watched the episodes in awhile and haven't finished the series yet)
In Hercules and the Return of Typhon, Hercules accidently releases Typhon from Mt Etna. It was revealed in the end of the episode, Hera annoyed Typhon by shooting a lightning bolt at his nose, giving Zeus enough time to use all of his power to throw Mt Etna at him(He probably did some magical seal, seeing how moving a mountain is small feat compared to the other physical feats he has)
Some evidence from the Movie
Hercules releases the gods from their chains in a few sword slashes(Phif's equipment has been shown to be nowhere near as tough as Herc many times in the movie, including the sword).
Hades breaks Zeus lightning cage(despite being shown inferior to Zeus, be it the series where extinguish Hades' entire head with a casual breath or in the movie where even baby herc accidently broke Hades finger). Keep in mind the lightning coveres just enterance of the underwater cave their in. When the cage is broken they just make a bigger hole somewhere else with a puch each(minus the Cyclop)
My train of through
When the Ice and Magma form a rock formation around Zeus they could have used some type of sealing too. The previous examples show that its more powerful to the people they are trapping and more vournable from the outside, since they can be broken from weaker people.
Yeah, as there's statements over how KH bases stuff on the respective movie they bring in.
But as there's stuff blatantly changed from the original, most notably with Wonderland being real and not just a "dream", it's better to rely on feats that happens only within KH itself.
Which? Olympus has appeared in every single game for some reason, and while it didn't deviate much from the original movie, it still seemed quite fitting as a place for the cast to develop character-wise, rather than just slapping the cast in with a minor excuse, and the cast basically being left way too separate from the "movie plot" to relate the two (Cough, Arendelle, cough).
Wonderland is a pretty meh world, but there wasn't much to explore in that one anyways beyond the riddles of Chesire Cat, especially in 358/2 Days.
Ah, so you meant just not counting the tv series for Hercules. Explains why I liked the stories in that world. So, have you checked the japanese version(just curious if Hades' lines are that good in that version too). I'm confused on one thing: Doesn't the narrator in KH3 imply that Hades realesed the Titans pretty recently? And in previous games Herc sends the stone Titan flying(like a shooting star) and Aqua destroyed the Ice Titan.
A pity considering all the interesting places in that movie
Yeah, the TV series seems to only be going to be touched after KHIII with the whole "Pandora's Box" stuff being found by Pete and Maleficent, then just left there, and far more than the coliseum itself is explorable in BbS, KHII and (Especially) KHIII, so don't think just the coliseum was explored by the main cast this whole time.
Anyways, yeah, it seems that they were freed in an attemp to end Hercules back in the coliseum itself, but it didn't fare too well and all, it was a decent derailment from the original movie, even if it leaves some questions now that I think about it, and as for the japanese version of the statement, well, the japanese cutscenes are all up in YouTube, but I can't really just constantly ask someone that's not into the series to translate it, although support on that would be nice if possible.
Ah no, I meant the places in Alice in Wonderland about missing oportunities for more exploration (then again this coming from sb whose expirience mostly come from playing a few games at friend's house)
I check the Olympus cutscenes then, see if there's any interesting change then
Well, the place is explored the most in KHI and 358/2 Days from what I recall, Union X and Dark Road also show some new places, but beyond that there's really not much to stand out of it given that several places are quite easy to mix up.
And thanks.
I didn't know about the last 2. I'll might give them a look when I feel like it.
Np. I checked the subs for Olympus in KH2 & 3, sadly I found nth important.(Maleficent voice was better in japanese)
Just remembered to answer your respond here: Nope, Epic Mickey was done before the attempt of removing Composite Mickey. One peek in that page and you get 4 feats from the classic shorts way better than any feat from the page for Theatrical Shorts Mickey: one speed feat linked, aonther one mentioned, 2 durability feats calced. The idea of having 6 people, 20 shorts each is good(I think there're about 120 theatrical shorts), but did they actually pull that off? With how much it is lacking his page looks, I wouldn't call it accomplished. Also a page being made 3 years before you joined means nth, i joined months before Impress,BUT I'm nowhere near as active as them.
Seth does bring up some good points, but the problem is that they don't really fit well with the other lore we do know and our standards (look for my post in the comment section), and so they aren't too usable as they're basically debunked.
