It was both but not touching your opponent is strictly via Buso.

Also, since I have a feeling that KT and Mitch may sometime in the future try downgrading Base Rooftop Zoro so that he isn't High 6-A (among others), when he scared Base Queen, we see in the next panel that Queen briefly remains scared of him with a drop of sweat on his face.

And this was with 1-sword.

KT and Mitch are gonna make a CRT to downgrade some people, including Base and Buso Zoro.

Have no idea what they're planning but if that's their goal I don't much issue since I was already planning on eventually getting around to revising that part of the Wano scaling.

Depending on how much is changed I may still need to go ahead with the stuff I found issue with.

Honestly, asides from the fact that Base Rooftop Zoro (and probably Buso Rooftop Zoro) won't be Scabbard tier or higher anymore, I don't even care that much about the downgrades.

Although I am concerned that if Apoo's durability gets downgraded, Guernica could lose his tier.

Base scabbard tiers are wrong.

Yamato scaling is wrong, I think Kachon will cover that in the future though.

There's a lot of issues with Kid's scaling.

Also just not a fan of scaling all of the supernova's late rooftop feats where they most likely grew stronger back to their earlier versions in the raid.

I once tried addressing Base Scabbard tiers a long-ass time ago, but everyone disagreed.

IMO Yamato scaling is fine, but I'd rather not discuss it not.

As for the Kid and supernova stuff, that kinda makes sense.

IIRC I said that they shouldn't flat-out downscale from Kaido (this was back when everyone in top tiers was 6-A), and I said we should either only downscale their Buso (since that's what they used to hurt Kaido, not their bases) from Kaido, or use the 1/4 option (which KT got mad at me for proposing yesterday for whatever reason) for their Buso and downscale from there.

Her justifications especially for her base could definitely use some clean-up, but her scaling at the moment seems fine.

Yeah we thinking of different issues with the scabbards.

All of it needs revising, puts her equal to Kaidou which is wrong.

She's not equal to Kaido, if he's a 100 she's an 85.

But what's your deal/plan with the Scabbards?

I honestly think we should make them something like "6-C, 6-B [or whatever the new downscaling from 1/4 of Kaido would be] with Buso for stabbing Kaido, and 1/4 of Kaido with Oden Nitoryu [for the 4 Scabbards who reopened his scar]"

Also, this is a stupid thought of post-TS Buso Zoro, but I just realized that the thing about Ashura is that its special attacks (like the stuff that one-shot Kaku and scarred Kaido) is when Zoro attacks with all 9 swords, not just 3 or so Buso swords.

When he clashed with Hybrid Kaido a few times before scarring him (and seemed to match his AP during these clashes), he was definitely not using 9 swords to block and evenly match each of Kaido's swings, and the anime supports this. He was using like 2-3 swords per swing/clash with Kaido in the anime scene.

And Asura doesn't boost the AP of Zoro's own body, it just stacks 2 extra Zoros with 3 swords each on-top of Zoro's normal Buso Haki.

So while scarring Kaido is definitely only a feat for Ashura using all 9 swords, him using 3 Buso swords to clash with each of Hybrid Kaido's standard swings seems like a feat for Buso Zoro's normal body.

This is dumb but it's been in my mind for a while now. Since you're the resident Zoro expert, I wanted to know what you thought.

Also, do you think Asura Zoro's Dead Man's Game scales above Hybrid Kaido's reaction speed or no?

Even if Asura clashing with Kaidou wasn't done with all nine swords it was still performed with Emma unleashing his haki so it wouldn't scale to base / regular Buso Zoro.

You could probably make an argument that dead man's game blitzed hybrid Kaidou.

1. Did he use Enma's power for Asura? I thought that was an anime-only addition. And IIRC Enma didn't buff his other swords until his fight with King.

2. I brought it up in the discussion thread but 2 staff and others disagreed, even though it's clear IMO that Kaido couldn't react to DMG in time?

1. He did. That's only when he's restricting it from unleashing at full power (DB & Tatsumaki). He unleashed everything with Asura which is why he no longer had the strength to stand afterwards.

2. Either it outsped him or overpowered him, had to be one or the other tbh.

1. He just said "that was the best attack I could do" in the official scans, nothing about using Enma. Also, his arms didn't look shriveled like when he used Enma against Kaido the first time. And he collapsed because he used his strongest form and he was heavily injured from Hakai.

2. Not sure how it could overpower Kaido when Kaido couldn't even block it. It had to have outsped his reactions. Whatever, maybe once KT and Mitch nerf scaling for everyone I'll discuss Asura's speed.
