I watched the video and while there might've been something suggesting it, I can't agree. It seems to me that he just used the five elements as an example of how there's no fixed perception of how an aspect of the physical world may behave and that they can be both beneficial and harmful.

Here is some more evidence that the five elements are abstractions. For example anyone who is a general of any of the five elements, upon death would become abstract entities that controls the concept of that particular element shown here.

And if you think that she just became a non-corporeal spirit instead than you're also wrong as when a mortal dies. Their soul perishes and would reincarnate instead so in this scenario. Daji/General water lacks any physical or spiritual body and is completely abstract.

No need for the second video since all the first video shows is her become some sort of water elemental. Nothing about controlling the concept of water was said at all beyond the weird conclusion you seem to have come to.

And can you ask Ultima or someone else about the concept stuff? I have zero interest in the verse.

Also, even if you said she backed some sort of "water elemental" she is still an abstraction.

She isn't because nowhere is that stated at all.

It's already blatant enough she became an abstraction. One of the natural laws of the verse is that the essence of a mortal is the soul. So when a mortal dies their souls perish and would undergo reincarnation but those like general water who didn't reincarnate would lack both body and soul which makes her an abstract force instead.

There's no such thing as "it's already blatant-", that's called headcanon. And we dont just make an arbitrary assumption when no other information is given to us. For all we know, her soul could've simply not reincarnated.

Go ahead, try to convince someone else of you're so sure. I'm not convinced at all.

"Her soul could have not reincarnated"

There is no such thing as this. The soul would perish when her physical body dies, That's the verse's natural law (stated in the 2nd video by the omniscient Primeval Lord of Heaven). Unless you want to assume that the word's of the omniscient Primeval Lord of Heaven is false, then by all means elaborate.

Also you don't need to embody a concept to get abstract existence anyway. Those that are completely abstract existing as a natural phenomenon or exists solely as something completely abstract with no form.
